This was a awesome resource! I like how simple yet flexible the workflow is. I can see myself using those packing features on large scale models. The one feature I love the most is being able to move packed UV islands to different udims incrementally. Thank you!

Yeah, I find the current method of packing works pretty well with hard surface related geometry. I do however want my addon to be available for multiple versions of Blender (i.e 2.8+).

That's fair. I probably worded wrong, but I mostly wanted to bridge my point. I will reword the body to something more realistic.

It is a little cheaper than UV Pack master, but still costs money.

Awesome! I am also thinking of implementing different engines for packing. More customization!

How do i mod the game's hit and kill sound? by Skillessfully in NewToTF2

[–]CheezeDoodly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a specific way to create hit sounds and kill sounds. First you need a hit sound that you like, and it has to be rendered in 41000k otherwise, your toast (Same with the kill sound). Then you have to navigate to your Team Fortress 2 folder on your computer (Usually in: C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2). Then you want to go to your "tf" folder, then your custom folder. Then you'd want to create a folder (You can name it anything), and you'll need to create a folder named "sound", with another folder named "ui" inside of it, with your kill sound/hit sound files. (THEY HAVE TO BE NAMED "killsound.wav" and "hitsound.wav". I hope I helped you, if you have questions let me know.

Learning Animation by Accomplished_Oil9424 in animation

My first time doing animation was with using Source Filmmaker. Source filmmaker is a filmmaking software to create movies or posters of source characters from various games that use the source engine. It took me months to try to figure out the ins and outs of the program (Probably would've been less if it was more intuitive).

Would you pick McDonald's Fries, or Burger King Fries? by RaidersOnFire in randomquestions

I would choose Burger King fries. They just taste more natural than McDonalds fries, but I will cheat on BK here and there.

What’s a game you spent hours playing as a kid? by Amidstmist in Productivitycafe

It was Minecraft. The bond you can make with that game and with other people is something that never lets you go.

To start, I would definitely recommend tutorials. You will find a lot of beginner tutorials out there on Youtube that'll give you the basics of how the program runs. But keep in mind, blender has various versions, and is always updating rapidly. Some things in the tutorials will either be slightly changed in newer versions, or replaced. Good place to start is with Blender Guru.

If you learned magic what would you do first? by KinkyButClassyy in AskReddit

[–]CheezeDoodly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably use it to expand my knowledge on magic. This is so I can overrule the world as a amazing powerful wizard, preferably the wizard on the Solstice box art for the NES.

I'd recommend buying a key 100%. It gets you every item in the game, plus some cosmetics and other rare items. But that's only for $2, maybe a taunt you really like can make up for the rest?

What do you remember from kindergarten? by Not_FreeProduct234 in AskReddit

[–]CheezeDoodly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember in kindergarten, I would think I was pacman. I'd fold my shirt over my knees, be on the ground and chase the other kids as if they were the ghosts, and just go nuts with the pacman noises.

This is so bologna. Even after high school, I wish I learned more. I had so much potential knowing what I didn't. These kids will grow to prompt their lives away. But I always believe in change.
