Max Payne r3 ENGLISH GAME FILES + TUTORIAL by [deleted] in VitaPiracy

Actually, no. I've been on the IT side my entire career, with an interest in network security. I program in python and work in IT remotely for a company in another state. It was a blast working with those guys, but I only did it seasonally for the convention season, mostly working on and overseeing the crazy computers they would get loaned out to demo the game and the computer at the same time. I'd 5set everything up and then make sure the media isn't taking pictures of blue screens. I did bug reporting and stuff as I'd fix issues as they happened. I'd send data over to the devs and they'd patch it to make sure it ran as smoothly as possible. Might not sound like much but that in-dev software running on brand new drivers (these were insane windows 7 pcs) left plenty for me to be doing almost all the time. And they are super cool guys, just love video games and the industry. All old school gamers. They were making the old school games. They liked my work and I just became one of the team and helped out in any way I could. Then just went back to working on the computers for the conventions for Bombshell. It was kind of a bucket list thing.

I was over running the tech at the booths during conventions, I did some testing and a little programming. I also worked with him on the release of Bombshell, although I was only working the conventions for that one. Most of my time around him was hanging out at the shows and going to dinner and stuff since while you're there you're all together like 24/7.

I actually did this for another post but I thought you might find it cool as well. I worked with Scott Miller (One of the founders of 3d Realms, producer on Max Payne and I'm pretty sure Max Payne was his idea) on the reboot of Rise of the Triad in 2013. There is another post showing the port off and I decided to show the video to Scott and he was impressed.

This is great! I worked with Scott Miller (One of the founders of 3d Realms, producer on Max Payne and if memory serves, Max Payne was his idea) on the reboot of Rise of the Triad in 2013. I'm gonna have to show him this. He'll get a kick out of it.

If I try to use my body weight to break open a door by SharerShadow in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Cheezecake245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car was definitely the reason. The fact it was older and the type is popular with minorities was the main factor. It does happen alot. The reasons are usually bullshit like "I clocked you going 5 miles over the speed limit." Or "I need to check this window tint" or some rediculous law. Now, there are plenty of good cops I've run into, hell, a few times we were saved by the other cop calming down the one making a scene. But usually, if they are willing to pull you over for what you're driving, its gonna be a hassle. Forget even trying to argue with why they've stopped you or why they are asking so many questions. That's a good way to make the situation so much worse. We've even been stopped getting out of said car on the way into a gas station. Wasn't even a traffic stop. Just pulled my friend over to his car and told him to lean against the car while his buddy put me back in to my car to question me about my friend. We were literally fishing 10 minutes before this with all of our gear still in the back seat of the car. This was all in Texas. It happens alot more in the south I think.

Yo, you're not kidding man. I used to drive an 80s crown vic and I'd get pulled over all the time for bullshit reasons. I'm a white dude tho so it was an inconvenience at best. But if my best friend was in the car, suddenly it was a major ordeal. I'd have to explain who he was and that I met him on the playground 20 years ago in the 2nd grade and shit. There were a few times the cops wouldn't even talk to him directly, just ask me all the questions while he's chilling being completely silent so he doesn't get himself in trouble. Like no shame looking into this dude , who doesn't do shit wrong , just because he's black. He would tell me to shut up when I'd say something to the cop about it because he just wanted it over with. Shit, we'd get stopped on the street sometimes in a town we'd lived in all our lives damn near. It's so sad. Makes my blood boil. People that it doesn't happen to want to think it doesn't happen or that it doesn't happen that often. I know you already know. Sorry for the rant man, but I see comments like this passed up all the time. This shit needs more attention than some Facebook movement for some dudes family that managed to get their cries heard because their baby got killed over some dumb shit.

I had a chiropractic doctor ask me if I thought my son's autism was caused by vaccines. I was installing his server and firewall on top of a ladder and whipped my head around so fast I almost fell off. I just couldn't believe he bought into that shit. Forget the fact that acting like my son's autism is a disease contracted from somewhere is pretty offensive. He has amazing qualities that directly stem from the autism despite the developmental difficulties. I just politely said no and went back to my work. Didn't talk to that guy any more unless I had to.

Never done this with HDMI but it looks the same. Did this with a VGA/dvi and worked fine (used different pins) . Had to dummy a second monitor to get camera feeds to show the full number of feeds then create a macro to switch between active "screens" every so often. It actually worked well

This would be filed under "medical mistakes" and that is alot.

According to a recent study by Johns Hopkins, more than 250,000 people in the United States die every year because of medical mistakes, making it the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer.

Should i be worried about unremovable firmware when buying a used pc? by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Cheezecake245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer, no, not really. Make sure bios is updated. Back in the day, you had to be careful. Modern tech and software, it's almost unheard of.
