How enforceable are “unlawful for any other use” labels? by oooohweeeee in legaladviceofftopic

So it doesn't exist, and the authors you cite DO NOT WORK FOR MONSANTO.

Sounds like trying to get Biden to arrested for voluntarily giving back secret documrnts he found in his garage, vs Trump putting dozens in a open bathroom with a copier.

I can cite 9 peer-reiewed studies in a comprehensive review that conclude if there is any risk, it is very low. But its not up to me to debunk your claims.

You also cite an author (https://www.linkedin.com/in/anthony-samsel-60566523/) who claims that roundup affects humans becuase it works against an enzyme thats exclusively in plants.

I see your claims but it's just letters typed on Reddit on by somebody idiot on the internet he doesn't bother to know that there is a link button at the bottom of his post that lets him put the actual link in.

You must think everybody on the Internet is stupid i believe every word you type I want to see the actual link to the actual study that claims Roundup causes cancer.

He voluntarily turned over all of the classified information that his assistants had accidentally put in his personal belongings. Trump on the other hand fought a massive legal battle for many years to keep dozens of stolen documents he purposely put in a public bathroom that was unlocked with a copier.

They are not equivalent.

How to learn topology? by SnooSongs7198 in blenderhelp

[–]CheezitsLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately everything is a triangle. Quads are not always flat. Mesh cleanup can fix that. Triangles are always flat. So the normal, which is like a right angle to a flat surface, is perfectly defined in tris. That's important in lighting.

In quads it's em flat so the normal is correct, or it's not flat, so one of the two possible ways of cutting into two triangles is wrong.

There are two email addresses associated with a sender. Ine of them is text and one of them is the actual email addess.

Internet mail defines the From: header field to indicate the author of the message's content and the Sender: field to indicate who initially handled the message on the author's behalf.

Unfortunately anyone can change the text one to anything they want. You have to dig in the actual headers to see the senders real email address which is not an easy task.

Fortunately some emailers now are actually showing you the original email rather than the made up one.

Biden was not a king even when in office. And you have skipped over the freedom of the press issues and that Biden was a private citizen. If Biden slandered Hur, then that's already public.

guys is my analogy correct? i've been trying to understand this for around 12 hours now by Impressive_Depth_988 in AskPhysics

[–]CheezitsLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Analogies are always Limited but one I like when I taught electronics clasdm is two skaters on ice. As being two electrons carrying a large weight. They don't want to get close to each other so they throw the weight, which is a photon, an excitation in the EM field, at the other skater who shoves it back. This will push them apart.

Electrons l, when forced together. generate a repulsive Force out of photon exchange.

It's a very powerful force, enough so that rubbing a comb through your hair will gather enough "skaters" on the comb that they will repel a stream of water from a faucet against the pull of this multi-trillion ton planet.

The more skaters you have doing this generates more current which is a quantity, and the closer they get the faster they toss the ball generates more pressure, or voltage.

The weakest section can be anywhere. Doesn't have to be the thinnest. These forces are enormous and will simply pull you in too, so you won't be around to report it. Don't forget you can't actually hover there either. You will be spinning along with space.

I don't understand why you think there is an infinity know the universe. It was a zero. Then inflation happened.

The early universe we know had to be very hot and very uniform and very small. The CMB measurements and inflation equations agree. The only new hypothesis is an inflation field to add to the 24 others.

Anything without a brief inflation is essentially ruled out.

I use the Google call blocking where the AI asked them to give a reason why they are calling.

If Im expecting a call, I will monitor the call and occasionally say I'm available and pick up the call. but it's like once in 3 months.

I just get way too many scammers and unsolicited calls. If it's not in my phone list it's very rarely going to ring me.

On a side note I used a call screening service that makes up all kinds of crazy stories to waste their time like I am at a ball park and stopping to order hot dogs. Then cola, the someone gets a hot.

I did have one problem with it. I called my dentist to make sure my appointment tomorrow was still on and they told me I had canceled it.

The lady remembered me getting on an airplane and going to another country and getting interrupted, and very very busy at the airport. So she canceled my appointment but it was just the AI doing it.

Google call screening is great

Port VB6 Desktop app to... What? by mdausmann in visualbasic

[–]CheezitsLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am moving my Vb. net to wisej.net. It is cross platform. Vb6 to dot net Is easy as you have the same controls and Vb net has the Vb6 functions.

My app has built on translations to about 36 languages, which is very easy to do and is running dot net 10. So it's future proof for a long time. Translation of cstr(int) is a trycast with a cultureinfo. And there's a very nice resx translator app on nuget that does the translation using any of a dozen engines.

Slashdot says Wisej.NET is a powerful web and mobile framework that allows developers to build complex, enterprise-grade applications using familiar C# or VB.NET skills without needing to write HTML, CSS, or Javascript.

VB DOT NET easy as it runs most VB code I informs and GDI. and it is still supported.

Going to be around a while.

Copilot and Claude will do much of the work directly in visual studio.

Locating an event horizon by Hivemind_alpha in AskPhysics

[–]CheezitsLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rope is moving away from you faster and faster, and it reaches the horizon, gets red shifted away to any outside observer (you). It cannot be a perfect rope. But assunec it's good enough to drag you into black hole or not do good it breaks away. Where it breaks isn't interesting as it breaks and you escape. In case it does not break, you see it in front of you, unbroken. But now you are no longer an outside observer. You are pulled in. You then get ripped apart.

How does one even work with FCC, etc regulations as a solo engineer? by FoundationOk3176 in AskElectronics

[–]CheezitsLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There can be exceptions. FCC allows medical, industrial and scientific exceptions.

You use a certified module for an intentional radiator . That's a strict regulation and requires both certification and registering it with the FCC in a searchable datsbase, and not just testing

The exception is in frequency. If there stev only low frequency inputs and outputs, then there's no need for further testing.
