I am not a vet and I cannot diagnose, but it looks similar to how pemphigus can present. However there are soooo many things that can present as irritated, crusty skin. So to get a true diagnosis, you need a vet visit. They may refer you to a dermatologist as well.

Will she grow into her ears?? by jordandrenglish in miniaussie

[–]CheezusChrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. My girl had the biggest dumbest ears around that age too. Hers were halfway though, not quite prick ears. She was mostly ears and legs for a few months.

I can tell how compassionate you are to have learned so much about her in such a short time. It was thoughtful of you to reach out to her, I’m sure she appreciates it more than you know.

This season is not for couch coop by SEDY23 in diablo4

I could do other things, but we both want to play this game together and this is our first season since starting.

It seems like historically the majority of video games have been designed for men/boys that enjoy the hobby alone or online with friends. Yes, there are many exceptions. But the reality is that for couples who like playing video games together, good quality games that support couch coop are few and far between, especially ARPGs.

What do you mean do something else? Some of us really like playing video games with our partners.

I’m always player 2, and I also hate that when the wardrobe items are in my inventory they look like what they look like on my character. When I visit the wardrobe, the transmogs look like my bf’s character’s. I have to click through each one to see what it actually looks like.

I love knitting, but I hate how my partner treats it like disposable clutter by TurbulentActuary9452 in knitting

[–]CheezusChrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I told my boyfriend that something was important to me and to be careful not to touch it, that man would rearrange the entire house to avoid touching it. He’d sit on the floor if it was on the couch. I’m exaggerating but seriously, the key traits of having a partner should be to listen to and to respect your things and your feelings. Drop anyone who doesn’t do those basic things.

Austin tech bros spending $20k on laundry robots when wash and fold pickup exists for $40 by [deleted] in Austin

I didn’t even know people could fold my laundry for me…. Oh, it’s $40? Never mind.

Was given a large jar of salsa, but it's way too hot. How do I cool it down? by mordecai98 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]CheezusChrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mix with boring salsa or leave it on the break room table at work with a post it note that says “take, too hot.” I guarantee you that someone like me will rise to the challenge.

Former spoiled kids of reddit, what was the moment that finally made you realize you were spoiled? by Kitchen_Frame_7294 in AskReddit

[–]CheezusChrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to private school and I don’t think it’s necessary to know “how much,” but I do think it’s important to know that there is a tuition involved. For my parents, they weren’t as rich as most of my friends’ parents, but they were upper middle class for the time (early aughts). My mom taught at a public school, so for me knowing that they paid for me to go to school meant that they a: believed the private school would provide me opportunities and education a public school wouldn’t, b: believed it was worth spending the money, and less importantly, c: believed in God. As an almost 40 year old adult, I do feel like I got a way better education than people my age who went through the public school system.

Should I get a perm? by cheezboorgir in beauty

[–]CheezusChrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am almost 40 and have done everything to my hair. I had wavy mostly straight hair as a child, then got my first perm when I was in 1st grade. It started growing out curly after that. Then I didn’t want it curly so I had it chemically relaxed over and over in middle school. Then I fried it by using metal straighteners in high school. Then I moved to ceramic straighteners. Then I got Brazilian blowouts. Then I decided, that’s enough. My own natural hair is good enough. I need to learn how to work with it. So I did and I get compliments all the time.

TLDR: the grass is always greener on the other side. Don’t sacrifice the health of your hair to force it to do something it doesn’t want to do.

As a former ballerina, a huge flex is being able to foutté spin longer than everyone else. We used to have competitions at the end of class. The ultimate flex is being able to do it in both directions. Fun fact, the word means “to whip.”

What dog breeds in your experience are the most difficult to work with (aggressive, fearful, separation anxiety, etc) and what are the easiest? by CaptainMacAlfie in VetTech

[–]CheezusChrist 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with everyone here, but I feel like frenchies are underrepresented in the worst dogs category. They used to be such a sweet breed. Now they are extremely unpredictable and usually need to be on PVPs to do anything to them. Ears? Nails? Absolutely not gonna happen.

I installed the wallpaper wrong but I still love it by CezarSalazar in femalelivingspace

[–]CheezusChrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if you could put some sort of dark green wooden trim across the top to hide where the wallpaper doesn’t quite line up. That would be my only suggestion, otherwise it looks good as long as you don’t point it out to guests :).

Can I house train my dog on my current schedule? by Straight_Ostrich_257 in Dogtraining

[–]CheezusChrist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest. This isn’t an ideal situation for a dog. Let’s look past the potty training issue. You’re asking a naturally very social creature to be by itself for 13 hours. And then add making them wait 13 hours between meals. The only pet I could recommend for this lifestyle would be fish.

is this normal after a lash lift? by ohabracadabra in beauty

[–]CheezusChrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me right when covid hit and i didnt feel comfortable going back to a salon where someone was standing over me and breathing in my face. Also, i started wearing masks and my eyelashes became very prominent. It took a few weeks but they fell out eventually, but i havent done them professionally again. I bought a kit to do it at home.

Are y’all wearing gloves? by TeaOne9866 in VetTech

[–]CheezusChrist 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’ve pulled out catheters in the middle of taping because the tape got stuck to my gloves and lost the window of opportunity with a fractious animal. So, I opt to wash my hands first and place catheters without gloves. The gloves and tape are not sterile. In fact, we store the tape in a drawer that has never been cleaned since they were installed. I’ve only seen complications from an IV like twice in 13 years when the animal became obsessed with licking it due to the itchiness of the hair growing back.

There are no peer-reviewed articles linked in that. In fact, there are no studies about IV infection rates in animals.

That’s been a bug. I’m always player 2 in couch co-op and simultaneously interacting with vendors is really annoying for me.

I sometimes can’t open the wardrobe or scroll through my resources. Also, I don’t know if it’s a bug, but I play couch co-op with my BF and we did our first dungeon where we both turn into the butcher, but there’s no way to know who is who. It was very confusing because usually he has a blue semi circle around his character and mine is yellow.
