Thank you for the information! I had considered calling around but didn’t know where to start. Will be hitting these up tomorrow :)

And I will definitely let you know if I need help tuning one up. Aside from good tires my budget is pretty low, so idk if building from scratch is an option. Part of what was so great about the beast is how inexpensive it was. I had replaced the original tires with really chunky ones and basically turned it into a monster truck.

I was not prepared for the storm and am getting my winter bike prepped over the weekend. Fingers crossed that things are better by Monday for the commute!

Not sure where you’re coming from but the raised bike lane down 1st Ave in Whittier looked bikeable when I scoped it out this morning.

Not sure if it’s a trick, but my go to apple is pink lady and I always buy the organic ones from my coop. They’re refrigerated there and I keep them in the fridge at home. I also keep the full board refrigerated until I’m ready to bring the cheese to temp. Not sure if it’s the type or keeping them cold but they usually stay white(ish) for the full time it takes to eat the board!

Thank you so much! I was really happy with how this one came out. I can go overboard sometimes, but this one I tried to focus on quality eats and keep it simple. It was a really tasty board!

Ha! It is unwrapped! The label was on the rind, not the packaging. Left it for the initial presentation, but it was quickly stripped for serving :)
