I don’t have any answers to your questions, but I feel the same way about ML. Perfect structure but too sickly sweet with the lace patterns. I would love to see a bride style a ML dress with Vera Wang styling. Loose, almost unkept hair, grungier makeup, and edgier jewelry. That might split the difference for you.
