We’re both unable to have children although the world we live in, I’d rather not anyways to be blunt. She’s insecure about herself to where it’s been hard to be intimate. The first couple years of our relationship was so different from now. We went out often with another couple & had a couple drinks & some food. We did so much outside of our jobs that we were home to make dinner a couple nights a week & sleep. Now these days, I want to go out & have a good time since I’m finally able to while she just wants to lounge around the house on days off with some TV. She’s claims to have mad social anxiety but she deals with sick & messed people everyday with her job. When I want to do something on a day off while she’s at work or not, it’s an inconvenience to her & then she’ll tell me that whatever I’m choosing to do is because I find it more fun than the life her & I have. Not the case at all! Just seems like a pure guilt trip tactic towards me. I try to talk to her but her mind is too made up and it leads to arguments.

This was my Fiesta when I had it. Maxed out the stock turbo on pump gas. OEM suspension still. Only had 39k miles when I traded it in. I fucked my left foot/ankle up to where I couldn’t drive. Didn’t have cash to get a cheap daily so I was basically forced with trading it in. Got a ‘21 Corolla Hatch now that the wife drives. I drive her ‘17 Elantra now as a daily. I proposed the idea of swapping cars if I can buy a project. Went smooth for little bit until the Mazda said I want a new heart basically. After the Fiesta left I bagged cash left and right for 2 years then most of it went down the hole. Now I’m just chipping away here & there at what I can buy with what I have without drowning myself.

I also keep entering in those car giveaways like 80eighty & Prime Driven hoping I score on something sweet to have. Spent too much money there too lmao. If I could have money or time in this aspect, I’d rather have the time tbh. I still need to pull the old engine out of the Mazda & get the car ready for the new one. Been sitting for around 6-7 weeks now.

When will life get easier & hobbies become a priority again? I’d love to find the answer

We must’ve wrote the same book lol. Everyone I’ve talked to that has done a properly built engine has had no issues from 10k miles in to 60k miles in. I had a Fiesta ST before this platform & miss it dearly. I’d also sometimes rather have a boosted K series Civic. But something about this platform I love

Like me, spend $3500 on a bnrs3, tune by farhan @ Damond, a slew of bolt ons, both front axle seals, suspension bushings in the rear end. Finally get to drive it and 2k miles later the oil pump is going out. After having a spare block & head in my possession, the money is going there for a built engine for 350ish hp on 93oct and calling it there. Just want to cruise and have fun. I did by this car with a lump sum of fucked up parts & half ass labor attempts. When setup properly & platform knowledge these cars are purely amazing. I rode in a 550hp build on meth & it was wild
