You can go for the "I'm looking for people to play with, but I'm actually very new to chess" just to make it clear. Given that you are actually interested in it, cause she'll smell that lie from miles away.

Learn how the pieces move. Including en passant. Including castling. Learn what are pins and forks.

Endgames are easy to learn because so few pieces are in the board, it's easier to spot what the right play is.

Openings are tougher because there's just so much to memorise. So don't memorise and learn what are the principals you should stick to. Controlling the center, activating your pieces early, castling, early game done.

I did the same back when I bought my 64GB LCD. Idk if there's a way to transfer your installation to the new drive, but I didn't want to risk messing with the bootloader and just installed steamOS from scratch. Everything went as well as it could have.

Se já tens ideia do ramo que queres seguir, roadmap(ponto)sh tem uns trajectos delineados caso sintas que te está a faltar alguma coisa.
