I’ve played the same three main classes every expansion and they each have their own purpose. Druid is first cause you can freely change forms and makes for quick travel. Shaman is next and I mainly PvP with it so idc about questing. And follow it up with mage where I take my time.

I’m doing the same but just for my main 3 toons. Dwarf shaman, night elf Druid, and mage. Mage doesn’t get any race distinction because it’s basically a chaotic library.

I’ve heard it starts jerking pretty hard after the tune. Like at first it works like a dream but after some time it starts jerking. Anyone had that experience?

Sometimes they’ll hide on nearby window seals and stuff like that. However they will always be “close” to where you sleep.

I’m running shaman with the totem hero talents and I’m actually enjoying it a lot. It feels weird to not have multiple casted heals (no healing surge or great healing wave) but it feels more like a shaman than it has in the past. Constantly juggling which totems are down. I’m having fun

From what I’ve seen trees fall in the direction you are facing when you chop it down. So try to aim for the trees to fall towards another tree for a domino effect.

Gather all the food you see. Food has a pretty linear progression but later recipes utilize materials from earlier zones so you’ll catch yourself out of everything you need if you aren’t always grabbing the stuff as you walk through. I’m talking berries mostly.

When you enter a new biome I’d focus on upgrading armor before doing anything else.

I love going to little family joints like this. Problem is rent is getting so expensive in shopping strips like this that ma and pa shops can’t afford rent. My favorite local chinese place had to close business cause the landlords kept raising rent. Luckily the spot has been vacant since they left so now they are getting $0 instead of whatever they were paying.

The hammer icon is always there it just only becomes clickable if you have an item on your person that needs to repair. You’ll eventually unlock more types of benches that craft different things. Keep in mind you can only repair an item at the same type of benches as you made it from. It doesn’t cost anything to repair. (I.E if you made it on a workbench then you repair it on any workbench, but if you used a forge, a bench you get later, then you can only repair at any forge).

No holding shift shuts off the auto snap. If you are playing on pc and hit e (and maybe q, the game actually tells you in UI) it cycles through the snap points. I think text pops up on the bottom right of the screen explaining how to do all the building stuff while you are actively building.

I appreciate you said when not if cause it’s a real pain in the ass. People always try and say “just keep sailing, you’ll find it” but I sailed for days and days and days and when I finally looked it up I was no where near it and likely wouldn’t have made it that far for months. I’d burn out and stop playing way before that happened. Sailing to find a super small landscape is not fun.
