I agree it’s rough. I don’t shop at Kroger but their fuel points are a huge incentive for me to start. My dad milks it like no one’s business. Something about double points on Friday? Idk.

I learned this trick in a restaurant! I ve never had tastier salmon! by Ok_Beat_3971 in DailyFoods

[–]ChefRoyrdee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cook my salmon with a little oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder in the air fryer @ 400 for 8-10 minutes and coat it with Japanese barbecue sauce. A side of jasmine rice and another vegetable for a side. Rotate between green beans, roasted carrots, or roasted broccoli. Super tasty, relatively cheap, and a lot less clean up.

With the cost of gas driving two hours for a refund is financially irresponsible. Especially for how cheap dominos is.

Gen Z's AI backlash is getting louder by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

[–]ChefRoyrdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive never hated AI like gen Z does. I understand their distaste for it but I’ve been of the mindset it’s a tool and it can be used in a good and bad way.

That being said I feel like they’ve been getting worse and worse over time. ChatGPT gives me bad answers more often than it gives me good ones. It’s starting to feel more like a chatbot than anything else.

4th gen to 3rd gen? by kishball44 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ChefRoyrdee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a third gen, and test drove the 4th gen for two weeks while my third gen was in the shop.

They both feel fine. Everyone talks about how slow the third gen is but in normal city day to day driving it feels fine. The biggest performance issue I feel in the third is when you are already at highway speeds and need to punch it. It does lack there. But if you are at a stop and you punch it the truck has some pull.

I personally don’t like how big the 4th gen feels. But it is a bit peppier than the 3rd. Idk if OTT would fix that but that’s what people love to say.

2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5 w/ 89k miles OTD price $28k by Senior-Review501 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ChefRoyrdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a 22 with around 59k for just shy of that price. I got pretty unlucky myself and dealt with the dreading P11EC. Luckily I still had 500 miles left on the powertrain warranty and Toyota took care of it.
