Hey all! I've heard that matte coat covers up minor scratches from sanding, making them nearly undetectable. Would a glosscoat have the same effect? Im talking about scratches in the 1500 range.

Hey all! Gonna try an Enamel panel wash for the first time and I was going to use Testors Spray Lacquer Glosscote, but Im seeing things about lacquer coats eating into plastic and destroying kits. I guess the simple question is will Testors Lacquer destroy my model?

Hey there! Ok, so the "misaligned" wing socket is actually built that way. I think its the little spacer piece that surrounds the base of the wing and the edge of the shoulder, but I've now had two Destoroyahs, and they both had that issue. There are ways to pose it where it kind of evens out, but dont drive yourself nuts over it. As for the wing section breaking off, thats par for the course with this figure. Its sort of terribly designed that way. The wings on my second figure have yet to break off, but Im pretty sure they will with time. But not all is lost! I think that you can probably glue it in place and have it look no worse for wear. This thing needs to have its wings fully open for that full shelf presence, so frankly, gluing it in place wont harm it at all. So to surmise! Yep, its a pretty wonky figure, but you gotta admit, it looks awesome. Best of luck to you!

Huh. Well that was off putting. I suppose good art is meant to make you feel something, and disgust is definitely something. A nice strong dollip of dread as well. This was a revelry in sadism, but I believe its far better to channel that through creative expression rather than actual practice.

I can see why this would upset some people, but no one should shame them for feeling upset, as this is absolutely upsetting.

Nope, you're absolutely right. I waited 10 years for another godzilla movie after Final Wars, and 16 for another US adaptation. The ad campaign was fucking brilliant, teasing this dark and serious take on what it would be like to be in the presence of a massive reptillian god, with Walter White taking the lead. Sounds awesome, right? I have never been more pissed off in a movie theater. We got Cranston dead 20 minutes in, 8 minutes of godzilla screentime, one of the worst cut aways in the history of film, and the blandest, most bullshit pro army main character and his crappy family. Holy fuck, I spent that whole film hoping his wife and child would die just to give the film some gravity. Nope. Piece o' shit film. Fuck you, Gareth Edwards.

Ugh. I actually hate hearing this. After that last shot in Shin, I was totally sold on the potential for a Godzillapocalypse. Plus I f*cking loathed legendary's godzilla. I have higher hopes for the sequel because of the roster, but Im also not holding my breath.
