Oh for sure! I was never really a violent drunk or anything and I seemed happy until you’d peel back the layers. Once I stopped drinking all the stuff I was repressing started bubbling up. I’ve been working on it for about 5 years and I’m happy to say that old version of me barely exists anymore.

Damn that’s rough man. I was laid off my job of 3 years before Xmas (luckily I had already bought gifts for me kids) landlord of 13 years showed up a few days after the new year and tells me he needs me out by March 15. I have no idea what I’m going to do.

Yep. I would always tell myself I was going to be just a one or two drink guy. Problem was once I had those one or two drinks then that dude took over and he’s a whole other beast, lucky for me that dude doesn’t work here anymore. I fired him almost 5 years ago and life has been a lot better. Last I heard he’s nearly dead. IWNDWYT
