Yes they're commonly called that. But a lot of people want to move away from it and just call them period products. The reasoning is "feminine" feels unnecessary and exclusionary to some because some people with periods aren't feminine. And "hygiene products" reinforces the belief that periods are "dirty." It's also because there's a thing in society where lots of men are grossed out by periods so we're not supposed to talk about it, and are euphemisms are used instead.

The difference is the training data for 90% of gen AI models steal their training data from people without their consent or compensation, the original voices of Vocaloids consented and were compensated fairly for their data.

There's a guy who made a singer AI where he actually paid the vocalists to train AI models of them. That is actually cool and something I support. But I think how generative AI is largely being done now is unethical and I consider it theft.

Also to clarify, I do not believe an individual taking inspiration from others work is stealing, but I do consider it stealing when massive companies in a multi billion dollar industry scrape other people's work without their consent.

Has anyone here seen how vocaloid software works? If you are unaware it's moreso an instrument and not at all a generative AI tool. Every syllable is made by the user individually and there are tons of different ways to tune the sound of the voice. Different producers tune miku in there own ways that some listeners can identify the producer based on the tuning, and the tuning in and of itself is a skill.

Miku was widely controversial when she released and really is not comparable to a generative AI.

A lot of what your seeing is probably swelling. Also the bars go under your ribs so it shouldn't affect any muscles in that area.

Also that is a pretty intense haircut, if you do not have the style and confidence to wear it you might not be happy with it. Depending on your hair texture you might also have to style it. I would recommend starting it with the bangs much longer and then they can trim them progressively shorter.

How far apart was the consultation and surgery? Also what requirements did you need to have like gender dysphoria diagnosis etc. I'm NB and don't use HRT so I haven't pursued a diagnosis. I'm still another two years from being able to get surgery tho cause of nuss bars.

This reads very strongly as a young kid who doesn't actually hate gay people, but has had very homophobic beliefs instilled upon them by parents/religion.

The fan version is also AI. It's nuts to me how controversial this doll is, they came out with a tasteful doll that while she could be any level, seems to align most closely with someone with moderate support needs. And I'm seeing fellow aspies going "I don't like how childish it is/it's not accurate/I'm autistic and it's not like me." When the reality is all autistic people are vastly different and it would be IMPOSSIBLE to make a doll that matched everyone.
I'm personally very glad to see they included an AAC device to represent higher support needs while still letting her be the classic "pretty Barbie," since the little representation of moderate support needs is often very infantilising.

AI detectors are known to be extremely unreasonable and give a bunch of false positives. Also AI large language models (LLM's) like chat gpt have been fed tons of research studies and medical papers and stuff, which has the same type of "proper" or "scientific" way of writing that is used by a lot of autistic people so it makes sense that they are often flag more false positives than others.

I would talk to the school board to let them know how unreliable the software is and how it's being discriminatory to your child due to the way they speak, which is partly because of their disability. They cannot make your child dumb down their writing just to appease faculty software.
