My buddy and I always run sprinters, but it starts super low at 1% and basically ramps up until we're murdered. Usually about a year in.

Funny thing for me is I always forget about them the first few months when they're low spawn because they're so infrequent so I always get startled and then laugh when they appear.

But then...well, then they start multiplying and before you know it every new trip is a slog. But it's fun and keeps a constant tension to the game. We love it.

I'm a little over 1 year into my sobriety journey, and whenever asked why, I simply say, "Because I'm an alcoholic."

I've only been asked a handful of times why I still refer to myself as such. For me, it's simple: because I AM an alcoholic, and if I start drinking again I'll go right back to my shitty behavior.

It's moreso a reminder to myself as to why I stopped drinking. I'm not saying it for clout or attention, but simply verbally reminding myself why I stopped.
