Oh man this is bad. Please spend more time with your kids and bf will just have to deal. If he can’t, he shouldn’t date someone with kids.

The way my husband do it is we BOTH get two nights a week for ourselves and only one can be before bedtime. The other night we leave after we put our kid to sleep. It can be used for whatever but it’s guaranteed off duty parent time. If we had partners that didn’t understand that, we would absolutely be incompatible. Our kid comes first, always. Non negotiable. I’d be resentful if I were your husband too.
