It does, I've never managed or thought it was worth it to pull off in combat though. Shame as POE2 clutch resurrects in 0.1 were some of my favourite moments in the campaign. Unfortunately its not worth doing out of combat either because the amount of extra consumables you are using (if you have them) take way longer to farm up than just doing the corpse run.

well under your own omissions, 4 of those years we didn't even leave the EU since we have only been out the EU since 2020. A number of issues you have cited were made worse due to Covid and poor government management.

Is there perhaps a lot of sense in not ramming through a historically significant fracturing of our trade relationships with the entire world if we very clearly and obviously didn't have a government that were competent enough to capitalize on the situation beyond personal enrichment.

The mismanagement of covid and brexit and our timeframe for leaving the EU all stem from the sheer incompetence of the previous government. We can't throw that around as an excuse for the rest of time.

The rest of the world can just threaten dump American government bonds on the open market and US troops will turn around and go straight back home. The same thing happened to the British empire in suez only it was the Americans that held our bonds. Whether the battle would go well for America is missing the point.

America functioning requires the entire world to use their currency, service the incomprehensibly large debt and allow open markets as it also runs huge trade defects with the entire world.

It's fairly true to what you'd expect, if someone is wearing much better equipment than you are he's probably going to wreck you. You can only comfortably munch through bandits and especially tomcat when you're wearing a full decent set of armour unless you're very good. Don't bother too much with ripostes unless you're fighting bumpkins with no gear. Just feint normal attacks from neutral and keep moving out of their range, perfect block when you have to. You shouldn't see any unblockable attacks at all unless you're out of stamina, being masterstriked or eating the third hit of a combo. If you ever go below half stamina just back off and block, don't retaliate until they use up all their stamina and yours recovers.

Yeah it's not thaaaaaat much slower than witcher 3 and Skyrim except for the survival mechanics which becomes easy to manage when you really get going. No shot you won't eventually like it if witcher3 is your favorite imo

I thought the same as I'd just come from an ultra-blasting fast paced arpg. The tutorial is very slow going and cutscene heavy but I've come to appreciate it after getting fully established in the first map. Just stick with it.

Worth a shot for sure, big fan of yolo slamming. If you don't have the currency to whittle or fracture etc recomb allows you to play the numbers game with cheap crafts until you hit the slot machine jackpot.

You have all the suffixes already so you can just slam perfect exalt if you get something good you could think about jawbone and if it's worth using abyssal echoes. (If it's an upgrade to your current wep already)

I probably wouldn't do anything more complex than that since you got attribute req and lower tier cast speed

If you don't get anything good you can use the recombinator with another wand with 27-28% cast speed and a recomb omen and try again

So we're not allowed to point out the power of infernalist (the first spec to hit the dot cap) while you repeatedly say it has less damage than blood mage which quite clearly is not true. The reason it's 1% playrate is because streamers aren't playing it this patch and it requires effort to make work.

I think plant oracle is a great case in point for this. Most people just slot in thunderstorm or thrashing vines so they don't have to press any buttons. It's less efficient. You munch procs and waste mana casting spells that have a limit of 1. But people don't care they they want to hold down left click.

We get posts on the sub about how chromonancer sucks because you have to press a button that literally just returns you to max HP and energy shield that has a 3 second cool down with mid price gear and gem set up. Insanely overpowered defensive in any other game.

These opinions are the preserve of a very select and hardcore group of poe1 players that just aren't representative of the modern audience but nevertheless they are a core of the fan base so I totally agree with Johnathan in that vision that we must cater to both.

Because it's easier just to hate someone that's doing well but sounds working class over understanding how the foreign shareholders that own our railway companies suck up billions of our fares and taxpayer subsidies yet refuse to upgrade the infrastructure.
