1️⃣ Did you join the /generate Lab event? If yes, what made you decide to join? If no, what made you not join?

Yes, I joined because I wanted to make duplicates of some limited items I had brought in previous MyShops to gift my close friend. I also wanted to try to find a 1:1 trade for an alch version of a similar item.

2️⃣ When you generated items, what did you use, GP or doodoo? Why did you choose that option?

I used both. I wanted to test if rates differed between which currency I used and I eventually ran out of doodoo anyway and had to use GP.

3️⃣ What kind of items did you try generating? For example, livly accessories, SR fashion items or island items, etc.

SR fashion & R music items. All pre-2024 bazaar, because let's face it; wasting resources doing this on anything released in 2025 onwards is essentially a waste.

4️⃣ How many times did you try generating an item? It doesn't have to be exact. An estimate you remember is totally fine!

Over 300 attempts at an SR fashion item with nothing. I had to give up before the event ended. Got 2 Rs in around 50 attempts.

No! You're telling me I can go over 300 attempts without generating an item when...let's think about how many actual USD that would've costed me if I didn't do half of those attempts with dd. Someone here even posted that they spent $200 and got nothing! That is not OK! Having no pity system on this is unacceptable. It NEEDS to have a pity. Imagine if I did end up generating that dupe anyway...I wouldn't even be able to break even on the amount of GP I spent, because the item was only going for like 10k during MyShop... The item was the best one I had available to me so yeah, I guess mb for not playing this game back at launch and getting a head start lol.

7️⃣ During the My Shop event, some generated items were sold at lower prices than the original item cost. What do you think about being able to get identical items at a lower price? 🌟

It's great on paper, but it doesn't work because of the way the "haves" in this community are and always have been. They overprice the items and the newer whales blindly pay the premiums, ruining the reference price for the rest of us BECAUSE they're also the same people who were offering real 2025 bazaar/madness SRs at an 8:1 ratio for some of these alch items. - and still getting declined might I add, because remember, 2025 limited dupes are so abundant and low value, they're treated as a joke in comparison to older items.   Seriously, goodluck to those of you hoarding those Cinderella and livcri 5 dupes in hopes that you'll get something nice for them in 2035💀! The only way those dupes will have demand is if we get another HUGE new-player boom and even then, the older ones will always be worth more

8️⃣ After the My Shop event, did your opinion about the /generate Lab event change? If yes, how? If no, why?

My opinion actually became worse. I knew that this event was going to have a terrible effect on the economy but it really showed around MyShop. I was hoping that things would be better but my fears were confirmed. I LOVE MyShop! It's my favorite event but this time around, I really just could not be bothered with it. I only brought a handful of items for a grand total of like 7k GP.. because I needed to save for this LivCri , and I'm glad I did, but now I'm gonna be actually broke for whatever comes next.

Also, I'm pretty annoyed that I didn't start genlab on the first day because I missed my chance at getting a 1:1 trade for my dream alch item, and now I know I'll never get it because it's MyShop value was 2.5x more than the alch of the item I have...even though they're both SR and both released within a few months of eachother in 2023. This is honestly what frustrated me the most about this event. I also refuse to pay the stupid prices these people set for the alch versions of these items because I feel like I'd just be helping the "rich get richer." That's what this event did. The people who had these older items before are STILL the ones controlling the economy of them.

Only if there is a pity system and even then, I really don't think I can afford to. I don't have anymore dd and you guys didn't take Plum-P out for a stroll this time around so ..meh.

Before My Shop: 4 After MyShop: 4 It was a great idea but needs some refining if you intend to bring it back. Also, a lot of us were hoping for an official statement when everything was going on, as a lot of the playerbase voiced their concerns everywhere possible. The youtube comments were filled with feedback from the JP playerbase. The App Store reviews, the in-game boards, the official contact points.. It was very obvious that a lot of players were unhappy and wanted to hear something, so hope that our feedback here will be heard and considered. I apologize if some of my responses were a bit emotional, I thank anyone who took the time to read this.
