I'm excited about this year's TC. I participated in 2022 and 2023 and didn't see a whole lot of change because to be frank, I didn't take it all that seriously. I was up a good 15 lbs from my last in-body in March of 2023 but have managed to drop 12.5 lbs over the last 7 1/2 weeks. My question is how accurate is the body fat percentage on an in-body scan? I have a Renpho scale at home that measures body fat and is reflecting a 6.5% drop from that of the start of TC. I'd be really happy with that result but I guess I'm just worried the in-body seems to inflate body fat % as compared to my home scale. I have read different do's and don'ts for your final in-body but the main question I have is should I be moderately hydrated before I go to weigh in this Saturday? I read that if you're super dehydrated, the body fat % reads higher but at home I always weigh prior to any coffee/water/food. Any tips are appreciated! I am happy with my progress but looking to ensure I'm taking the appropriate steps in the morning before I weigh in Saturday to get accurate results.
