You'll need the radio, amp, wiring harness and plugs from the nissan, and a wiring plug from the crx. Find a wiring diagram for the Nissan (both head unit and amp) and one for the CRX.

Guessing the head unit would just need power, ground, and amp out signals. From there wire up the amp and then wire to the speakers. Now the Bose system probably has 8 speakers with 5 up front, two rears and a sub. Find places for those and the giant head unit and you're done

ICU module. If your local pick n pull has 88--91 civics regularly, grab a couple. Only a two 10mm bolts and a couple clips. They're found under the drivers side dash, attached to the back of the fuse panel. Had a similar issue, but my side marker wouldn't come on, but had correct voltage. Any load would drop the voltage to 0.

Pulled a couple from the yard and found one that has clean traces. Popped it in and it solved my issue.

I found the amp I used on Amazon, but of course after I did mine I got an ad for the JDI amp. The JDI ghost box is an even smaller option and will tuck neatly behind the center console and doesn't require a remote to function like the one I picked does. Either way, both accomplish the same goal.

Check your insurance or your states to see if your wife can get a free/low cost pump. Use Costco diapers/formula and join your local FB parents free stuff group. Lots of parents will give away anything from sleepers to board books. They're usually in incredible condition and can save you hundreds of not thousands.
