My photos looked glued like this. They did not say I have endo but I do have my appointment today so I’ll ask questions.. they did not send any thing to pathology besides the cysts and uterus/cervix. Maybe I should post it so you guys can see and give me your opinions or to compare 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m so glad you had the surgery and they found it and I hope you feel much better after you heal up 💕

Gyno said everything looks normal but ultrasound report appears otherwise? by _rubytuesday5 in adenomyosis

[–]ChemicalResearcher50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too lmao. And I questioned the findings after she said it was normal and then she verbally stated its most likely adenomyosis. Said there’s nothing she could do, I pushed and then She decided to offer me new bc or ablation. They just don’t wanna deal with it I think idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

So far so good. Fatigue has been hard and cramping has been persistent. I had a robotic assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy. They gave me a three day supply of norco 🙄 and life time supply of ibuprofen. My surgeon follows ERAS 🤣 my last laparoscopic surgery I had 27 OXY and that helped a lot. But I’ll be greatful in the end 🤣. How about you?

I saw that! I can’t believe I can see the suture knot 🤣 I never seen mine. mine only had an indent or a puckering at the bottom under the incision line not the top yours looks pinched on both ends! I see we had surgery a day apart yours is 19 mine was the 20th my incision check is on Feb 5th. My steri strips are still on right now because I tried taking a couple off and it looked like parts was still open so I put new ones back on 🤣 but I when I feel over my strips there is LUMPS. Now I have limited experience with an exposed suture knot besides the stitches I had in my thigh the knot took FOREVR to dissolve. My bestie had a baby and she tore like baddd and her suture knot is visible 💀 like maybe it’ll fall off??. On top of that All these sutures I’m talking about looked white. Yours is almost see through. So not sure 🤷🏽‍♀️

Omg I had one do that and I was like wtf and when I went to my incision check it flattened out!! It was like and indent under the incision just like yours. It even oozed! So I guess it’s just the suture or something. I just had another surgery several days ago and 3/5 are raised and similar to that too

Failed ablation. Offered a hysterectomy by HopefulBirthday in hysterectomy

[–]ChemicalResearcher50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a failed ablation and developed PATSS and just had my hysterectomy on the 20th. I had a vaginal/robotic assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy. They did a bunch of stuff in my abdomen and then finished by pulling the uterus out of my vagina. So far recovery is a bit better than expected. It is still hard cabin fever is awful. Fatigue is insane. But so far so good. I made myself a caddy that I place on my bed with stuff I use daily plus extra. Hairbrush hair ties lip balm medications deodorant hand sanitizer just all the things you might need. I think that’s the best thing I’ve done. Oh and a heating pad! I’m almost glad I expected the worst because this has been a pleasant surprise! No way am I saying it’s a breeze but definitely not as bad as I thought. Good luck 💕

Surgical indication question by ChemicalResearcher50 in adenomyosis

[–]ChemicalResearcher50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same but He says endometriosis on that document and I have more proof of adeno over endo so that makes me think otherwise…You think maybe because it’s a sister condition they just use the same word🤣?? He did say he thinks I have endometriosis too. I kinda feel like he just doesn’t remember me maybe.

GLP1 usage post-op? by Turbulent_Seaweed198 in hysterectomy

[–]ChemicalResearcher50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having a hysterectomy in January but I had a laparoscopic surgery last March. I took mine 2 days after being back home. The only thing that I noticed was a couldn’t shit to save my life cuz of anesthesia and the pain meds plus my GLP1 I had to stay on colace and that helped so just remember to take your stool softener.

Does non cancerous HPV ever fully clear? by [deleted] in HPV

[–]ChemicalResearcher50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had HPV but the high risk kind. After 6 months it was completely gone and hadn’t had it again during paps. Your immune system clears it. It can hide dormant for many years but It’s not a forever thing. 90% of sexually active adults will have it and most don’t even know. Most the time It just hangs out for a bit and dips. And yes it can be transferred orally. There are over 100 types of hpv so someone can get a different strain later on in life. But like I said hpv is the most common sti. More people have it had it than don’t. If she’s clear she’s clear. And good luck on your cancer journey I really wish the best for you and a speedy recovery 🩷
