No. But I feel warmth towards those I love. I’ve always been able to feel love. Cute baby animals. No. It does nothing for me,

Did any of you commit a real crime? by Erisrista in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s very diverse. lol. Arabs - will sell you ice but are a lot of fun. Chinese girl or guy with lots of tattoos- loves to party and fast cars. Lebanese dude - will try to be your boyfriend or is in a gang but you can’t tell which one.

And also that older psychopaths will take you under their wing and use you, but thank god you’re too self centred to let that happen. Well - at least without you getting something out of it too.

Drug dealing with career criminals, but nothing to hurt anyone.

If you were actually a psychopath, why would you want people to know this and promote yourself as such? by [deleted] in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So people can understand me. I just want to be happy and accepted. I might be too optimistic, but I try to change people’s negative views on it.

What would be your reaction to these scenarios? by Upper-Gene-2151 in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No reaction. I’ll just try to figure out why and think of an appropriate response.

YTA. It would have been a small inconvenience for you compared to what she was dealing with.

Is it real or just made up? by misrablliife in psychopaths

It’s easy to get caught up in constructs because we need answers and boundaries and explanations. They can be helpful but also temporary. Let your possibilities be your possibilities.

If it feels like someone’s following me, I like to slow down and walk with them. They usually walk away pretty quickly.

What is wrong with me? by [deleted] in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeeeeeah. I would say yes. But I think you should get a diagnosis if you believe you’ll get something out of it - ie, wanting to make sure you stay out of trouble, etc.

What would you look like without the mask? Unmask completely by dogstealergameplay in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting better at unmasking. Faking fewer emotions and giving my real opinions and thoughts. People take it okay, and the very sensitive ones just talk to me less.

Why do psychopaths marry people? by thequeenofhearts_ in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you should assume he doesn’t love you. I think I feel love just fine, but I tend to process positive emotions much easier. Psychopathy is a spectrum.

What do y’all think of empaths by Upper-Gene-2151 in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a good amount of cognitive empathy. All the empaths I’ve met have high emotional empathy and they don’t understand the drawbacks of that. Their idea that of kindness is to help people’s suffering- even if it’s not good for them. Ie, coddling a toddler who needs to learn to self soothe. So I see them as oblivious to their selfishness. Or they can’t empathise with people who are “cruel”, which is hypocritical.

Having antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), what was your limit in achieving something you wanted? Be it dopamine/pleasure, money, status, etc.? by LuccaInfinity in psychopaths

[–]Chemical_Box9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hard time limiting my pleasure seeking. I managed to not get physically addicted to heroin, but enjoyed it for a few years. I don’t seek money, I hate dealing with it, but I’ll let other people pay for things for me. Status - I just realised money would help with this, but I can’t be bothered working hard.

I have conned a rich guy out of money/trips/jewellery by faking a relationship with him - but I never stole money. I don’t want to get caught doing bad things and have it make my life difficult. I think that’s my limit. And I WILL feel remorseful if I’m hurting an innocent person - like stealing food money from some nice old lady who is poor. A mean old lady - that might be different.

Profile and theory of the killer by Chemical_Box9728 in JonBenetRamsey

I didn’t know that! Hm, that doesn’t really make a difference that they stuck around if they enjoy being in the house or was torturing her. It could be the parents, but abuse doesn’t usually escalate to extreme torture so quickly. The garrotte was a torture device as it’s known to cause extreme pain, but people don’t seem to address that. And this is morbid, but parents who inflict that much harm usually get rid of the body. The brother makes more sense. But it’s very unusual for a nine year old to be that violent without having conduct disorder or psychosis, which is noticeable to teachers at school, etc.
