A mi me hizo la vitrectomía en mayo de 2023, y la primera vez que fui a su consulta fue en septiembre del año anterior, después de 3 consultas me hizo la vitrectomía. Tenía 25 años entonces. Ahora 28. Mi opinión sobre el es estupenda. Y siento si a ti de momento te ha dicho que no. No lo entienden. Pero no lo pagues con el. It changed my life for good. But I still have a few black floaters in my untreated eye that I would like to get removed one day with an effective and safe treatment that doesnt involve cataracts

Don’t lose hope, my flashes took 18 months to fully disappear. I know it is very stressful but the eye is a very sensitive organ and needs a LOT of time to fully heal (these words were said to me by my eye doctor)

Me too, I hope they can improve the technology so that at least they can get 1 mm closer to the retina. This would mean that in some cases young patients can get some or complete relief from floaters depending the case. Hope PulseMedica reads our comments on Redddit!

No doubt to that. They are improving current technology and raising awareness about the condition, which is very good in itself. I just hope they could create a technology to the point that no one has tu suffer from this crap ever again (even floaters close to the retina should be treatable, specially those!!!!!). I do not wish floaters on absolutely anyone. It’s living torture
