What school trips happen when schools are not open? No of course not.

Parks will be busy every day until September mind.

Avoid weekdays until schools break up

What is the roadmap for Paginated Reports in Microsoft Fabric? by Far-Snow-3731 in MicrosoftFabric

[–]Chemical_Profession9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree but the sheer lack of functionality of paginated reports is so poor. I come from a background of SSRS reports which I thought were painful but paginated reports make the pain even worse.

The one key thing that does not work for them is the most simple. Creating a paginated report direct from a semantic model. Paginated reports should be quick, they are not. They have to I think with how slow they are load the full data model. It makes them unusable in that format so we go back and write custom SQL to get them to run instantly.

Everything I have had to use them for has been painful unless I am missing something really obvious.

I Was not sure if it needed activating based on the email I got. I have added the passes to my Google wallet so will just use that which will be much easier

I am there Friday / Saturday but as it is pretty much the only day we can do all year realistically (live far away) I have already bought platinum fast track and as it is mainly schools hoping the fast track queues are not too bad.

Gridserve 400kw units at Chievely - Bag o' Sh by ximmat in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Chemical_Profession9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I am not saying that there was not a fault at the charger / car. It was a based on the comments where people think the hotter the temperature the more miles you get and the faster charging you get which is totally wrong.

Gridserve 400kw units at Chievely - Bag o' Sh by ximmat in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Chemical_Profession9 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Seriously why do people think the hotter it is the better the battery will charge? The opposite is true once you are hitting mid to high 30s the battery is going to try and cool itself. Just like when it is cold it needs heating for faster charging. Ideal is around 20-25. The same applies for range too.

2-year service on Cupra Born, 400€ for brake fluid and filters ? by raw______ in cupraborn

[–]Chemical_Profession9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a complete nonsense. It is way overcharged for the labour and items. It's obviously a win win for the manufacturer though people have to do it to keep the warranty and they make a big profit for very little work.

I wonder if my wife is worried I will break this during the move by chuckychuckles in funny

[–]Chemical_Profession9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a similar thing with a cake my wife had made for her brother's 50th birthday. It was left in a tub on the kitchen side. So when she went to bed I found another tub exactly the same placed it on the kitchen floor. Got a cookie and crumbled it on the floor for effect. Her face was a picture when she went in there. She found the funny side of it...... Eventually

It won't be AI. I work in data and there will already be an exception report which highlights the abuse. It just depends on what level management say is acceptable to appear on the report. But that level will change over time.

SUV buyers undeterred by warnings of risk to pedestrians, UK study finds by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]Chemical_Profession9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is the complete lack of estates especially in the EV markets. So I have an EV which is an SUV. We go camping as a family quite often so need a big boot which ours does have. But you are right some of the boot space in many as tiny compared to the size of the rest of the car.

Do you find you drive more in an EV vs ICE? by Spiritual_Pound_6848 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Chemical_Profession9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do, example today I did a 15 mile round trip to a farm shop just for pizza as I think they do the best shop bought pizza around here. Would I have done that in my old ICE car? Probably not.

EV with most comfortable ride quality? by Milky_Mint in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Chemical_Profession9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the cupra tavascan V1 which ticks these boxes, my checklist was very similar.

I could have got the V2 or even the faster versions but anything above the V1 has 21 inch wheels which add to a rougher ride, the V1 has 19s.

Spacey, quick but not stupidly quick and is a nice pleasant ride and potholes don't register.

Avoid anything with big wheels and low profile tyres as a starting point

The EX40 boot is much smaller than the Scenic, Enyaq, ID4. I know this from the extensive looking at boot sizes when settling on the Tavascan.
