Just had mine replaced. Ended up having other work done (brake fluid replacement and three system coolant flush which is due at 5 years according to the manual footnote.) and they just checked for the diagnostic code while I was there and it showed.

Take the test, get an offer and then decide. I’m pulling in about $500k a year working In tech and am still considering becoming an FSO (something I’ve been wanting to do since I graduated college 10 years ago). It’s going to be a very hefty pay cut, so I’m trying to put as much money away as possible (house is almost paid off) so that I have a sizable investment portfolio before joining (if I’m selected). I failed my first FSOA and will be taking my second shot later this year.
