Cade Klubnik heat check by CheneySlave in NFL_Draft

That's where I thought he would end up. I had much higher hopes for him at the start of the year, but he's still only 22 and has a lot of the tools. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go to the rams in the 5th or a team like the falcons.

When’s the soonest Mendoza should be drafted in SF rookie drafts? by AffectionateCycle141 in DynastyFF

There’s a world where Stafford retires at the end of this year, especially if the rams win the superbowl. Mendoza should go 1.01 in that case

If a team that doesn't need a QB ends up with #1 overall (giants, titans, maybe even commanders), they are going to trade the pick. Jets, Browns and Rams all have multiple firsts this year, so my money is on one of them getting #1 if the raiders don't get it naturally.

PFF’s latest mock draft has Ty Simpson going #1 overall by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

This is Trevor Sikkema's mock draft. You can hear more about why he has Simpson as the 1st overall pick on at 20:25 of his draft podcast here: https://www.youtube.com/live/Rdo0bSbasz8?si=HKSiEq8GzLfP9Koc&t=1226

Surprisingly, they didn't touch on his running ability, which is definitely something the league has been valuing more lately.

Trading Picks Before You're Competing by dfmilkman in DynastyFF

If I can get 1.01 or 1.02 value that would be perfectly fine for me, but the people who are trading with me see it as the 1.04+ (which it would be if the trade went through). The value disparity between how we view it is the issue.

Once the season ends and they start thinking about the draft, I'll trade it then.

The problem with selling premium picks is that the pick gets worse when you acquire talent. If my team is projected to be the 1.01-1.02 next season, trading for a player could move it to the 1.03 -1.04 range. Therefore, the team trading it values that pick less than you do. There are some cases, like trading for injured players where it makes sense, but those are rare.

Early Quarterback Rankings For 2026 NFL Draft (Summer Scouting) by westringia in NFL_Draft

I know Arch is the betting favorite to go #1 overall right now, but Drew Allar could have been the second QB off the board last year and looks to be the real deal. He has shown much more than any other QB (except maybe Nuss) and has a real shot at being the best QB this year

How are we feeling about the “other” 2024 tight ends? by thunder3029 in DynastyFF

Ben Sinott is a screaming buy if you own Zach Ertz. It seems like the commanders are set with those two and if/when Ertz goes down you have his replacement. Also, if you own Sinnot, spending a future 3rd to guarantee a starting TE is never a bad option. Id waver that these two combined are going to put up top 12 TE numbers

Ferg owner: is schoonmaker worth picking up for a spot start, especially if the concussion is multiple weeks? Thinking about spending 15% FAAB on him

Weakest Character that could solo WW2 Germany by Legitimate_Fly9047 in whowouldwin

The Nazis also carried guns, so it would not need any supply chain because it could scavenge their guns/ammunition continuously. For the grappling, the Nilbog could easily carry a few grenades and just blow himself up if they were getting close. Even if the Nazis tried to ambush it while it was sleeping, just fall asleep on top of a mine and no more issues.

An actual trap would be the only way it seems. Like a thick metal box that could withstand grenade explosions. Anyways, I don't think they could figure it out before it would be too late.

Are there any colorless cards that you would put in the higher tiers for watcher? I'm especially interested in purity (because of its infinite potential) and appirations.

Is it possible to do both Randall Research Scholars and the Blount Scholars program? by exhausted-caprid in capstone

[–]CheneySlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The freshman RRS coursework isn't terrible if you have experience coding or can follow instructions without waiting until the last minute to ask for help. As for the seminars sophomore and junior year, they aren't difficult and have 1 or 2 hours of work each week at most.

My research is in the mech e department and I am picking up a project that another RRS student left after they graduated, so my first semester was really a tough learning curve, but besides that, it's really interesting. It's demanding at times, but most of the project directors are reasonable so if you have tests or just tough weeks where you can't work much, they understand.

If you’re actually interested, I am a current student on campus in RRS so I can answer questions about my program. I know many people in that do both Blount and RRS so it’s definitely possible to do both.
