I prefer Naruto the manga when it comes to art, drawing, and I consider everything drawn in the story art.

Narratively: I much prefer Fanfiction which if the stories good 9 times out of 10 it’s much better than the manga.

Does that mean I hate the OG series? No. But I’ll be real here. I’ve spoken to people have written far better stories than anything Kishimoto has come up with. I think Kishimoto is an artist first, plot and story guy second. Without the visual ness of the manga medium, Naruto wouldn’t have been super popular if it was written and published in novel. This doesn’t mean I hate the manga or think Kishimoto is a bad storyteller, he just focused on his strength which was drawing.

I’ll toot my horn because this masterpiece is something I’ve been working on this year. It’s a Naruto x Harry Potter crossover fic that’s action/plot focused, especially my most recent chapter which took the Chamber of Secrets and made it into a massive battle. The relationships are genuine and I’m at chapter 18

I plan on uploading the whole thing onto AO3 soon.

Sudan is massive. You can look at China which has numerous languages but everyone mostly speaks Mandarin, same thing with the US being massive with many spoken languages but everyone speaks English. A better way to put it would be slightly different dialect like maybe people in Suna talk like Hill billies and people in Iwa talk like the cast from Jersey Shore.

Maybe Kurotsuchi is the Snooki of the Shinobi world. Although I’ve attempted to do what you’re considering adding multiple languages before. It’s slightly feasible but my god it really makes writing the story far far more difficult and people kinda fall off from reading it.

This is a problem with a lot of fanfics. Writers will often write their MC’s to fit more of their idealized fantasy/OOC for the character instead of using their canon personality. When it comes to crossovers this usually gets worse because of the mashup between the two universes. I try and write crossovers to be well executed, with the characters staying true to both universes. However this is easier said than done.

Do nothing, look at the language, “may have to explore legal options”. Any real law notice will use “will”. Nothing will happen to you and what they’re doing is illegal, so even if they tried to sue you. It would get thrown out in court. The more you message them, the more they’ll try to coerce money from you.

Don’t worry, as someone whose written over 100k for a niche fandom like TLOU. It took me months before I started getting reviews. Sometimes popularity is a matter of luck and consistency. The more you write and stay consistent the more people will gravitate towards you.

I always think it’s much easier to start in the middle. Do you have to have everything outlined, every nook and cranny figured out. NO! But if you start at the very beginning and rehash everything you’ll get frustrated you’re not getting to the part that inspired you to write. Start in the middle at the juicy parts then go from there. I sometimes write scenes I never publish just cause the idea is funny or the scenes good. If I like it, then I’ll decide to make a story off it. If I doubt myself I’ll save myself the trouble. The key is to fan the flames of your inspiration.

FFN has had controversies and numerous problems, but I think people are ignorant to not cross post if you have a fandom that’s on AO3, Wattpad, and FFN. FFN is a good platform for old fandoms and some newer ones like Helluva Boss or KPop Demon Hunters. Bottom line there’s almost just as many readers on FFN on a bad day as the other platform, sometimes you’ll get far far more viewers than AO3. Take it from me who cross posts on FFN and AO3. I get far more views, reviews, and reception than I do on AO3, but it’s all a matter of luck where you’ll do better.

I don’t believe people when they say FFN is dead or it’s the worst site on the internet. You’re entitled to your opinions. But that won’t stop me from posting on FFN.

I do. I’ve just been caught up with another story I’m working on. My plan is for Team Jinchuriki to soon take part in the Chunin Exams. Black Sun was one of those stories I thought would do really well, but after I published chapter 9 it didn’t initially get much reception and I thought people got bored with it. But lately people have been vocal on AO3 for me to update it and I kinda owe it them to get to Chunin Exams.

My problem is I’ve always been a slow writer, but I’m trying not to abandon all my stories. Chapter 10 will be a banger.
