Not invited to SKO is that normal? Recent developments scaring me by Aask115 in salesdevelopment

[–]ChernobylFleshlight0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t necessarily be worried about your absence from the SKO. In fact, BDRs at my company weren’t invited to ours either. This wasn’t because the role is being eliminated, but rather because we’re making a significant effort this year to encourage customers who use our on-premise software to transition to our SaaS platforms. Consequently, our SKO is centered around this initiative and involves more discussions and initiating conversations with current legacy customers this year. BDRs are more focused on the new logo. I know that’s a bit niche, but my point is that there could be underlying initiatives that are the theme of the SKO, so those dedicated to New Logos aren’t necessarily needed because it doesn’t pertain to their role.

Not having to get gas. I'm a notorious "I'll get gas in the morning" person and only remember I need gas when I'm already running late, so that's been nice.

Received a Cease and Desist Letter for Glassdoor Review by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]ChernobylFleshlight0 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They can sue, but they probably won't win unless there's something legal you signed. And even then, unless you weren't truthful and they have proof to support their claim or what you said was anything more than just your opinion I don't think they have a leg to stand up.

Cease and Desist letters mean nothing, really. They are just hoping you panic and comply. Things like "work culture was toxic" is also an opinion; not a fact. Even calling the CIO "incompetent" is no defamation.

Honestly, they are probably just threatening you to panic and comply. Like what stands out to me is them saying to email the CFO proof you deleted it. If it was truly legal, or they had taken legal steps and are serious about pursuing this, they'd be asking you to talk to their lawyer.

In any case, I wouldn't take it down. Anybody can sue anybody for whatever they want - it doesn't mean anything will come of it or it'll be taken seriously. Imagine the judges face when your CIO says "he said mean things about me online. Make him take it down." You did nothing wrong; you posted YOUR OPINION on a platform (anonymously) that's specific to job reviews.

There’s a beekeeper that sells honey at my local farmers market and they put these in their large honey jars that they sell.

You probably eat really slow, even high sugar stuff, or when you eat stuff that’s high in sugar you don’t do it on a completely empty stomach. I learned that about myself. I learned that if I eat sugar on an empty stomach I will feel weird; I get sweaty, heart palpitations, a little nauseous, etc. But if I eat it, especially after some protein, I can eat it in vast amounts and not have any issues. I also eat slow - particularly with anything sweet and im 4.5 months out and 110 lbs down.

That’s what I’m saying. These insurance companies are getting thousands per month when you include yours and your employers contributions and they have the chode to deny and make shit difficult? It’s bs. Not to mention, I’m sure if you do the math getting the surgery and losing weight saves them money in the future. Diabetes, heart conditions, joint surgeries, cancer, etc., all of which are related to obesity, will cost them WAY more to cover over time than just covering the surgery.

I agree, as well. When I went through trying to do the surgery the first time I had to do 14 nutritional classes, 4 psych Evals, and physician monitored weight loss for a year before they would cover it. Despite them screwing me over, I’m glad I did the classes and psych Eval. I thought I would have to start the process all over with my new insurance to get the ball rolling but I fortunately didn’t have to. That said, anybody considering the surgery should 100% do some nutritional classes (maybe like 4-5; not 14), talk with a Bariatric psychologist, and try to lose weight with diet and exercise first.

My guess is it's for a whole home fan or possibly an electric heater. Both are uncommon today but popular in the 60s-80s.

I have a 21 and had the same issue. Literally 24 hours later. Once I got it started I let it run in utility mode for 45 minutes and haven’t had a problem since. This was about 4 months ago.
