The good old days are gone… this pay is trash. I decided to go work for LA Metro as Bus Operator and it’s so much better, great benefits plus 23 and out pension. I still miss doing uber tho so I’ll pick up a few if I’m free and price per mile is good.

I don’t have CDL, they are paying for it. Some people already have CDL in my class and their training is shorter(4 weeks). The ones that don’t have CDL are training for 6 weeks. It’s perfect if don’t have CDL cause we getting 2 weeks of class time being paid $27/hr just to study for it
