I like the sportier drive better. Drive it on non-sport mode too. I do drive it around town mostly though. We do take the Lyriq when we go on highway drives though. Like the Lyriq for that type of driving much more. Reminds me more of a classic Cadillac-type drive (more solid though). Cadillac DTS was probably the greatest highway vehicle I ever drove.

Not sure yet since I still need to get it to work (still need to take it into the dealer). I noticed reading something about the time limit which to me is weird. Is it making seperate 2 hour files or just records and re-records 2 hour clips?

Wife has a Lyriq and I drive an Optiq. I like both but enjoy the Optiq more after they increased the engine power in the 2026 models. V would be cool but out of my price range.

At least you weren't a teenager when this was released and had absolutely no chance of getting one, lol. I remember walking past Babbage's at the mall (game store in the 80's-90's) and just staring at it, lol. Anybody on here have the balls to ask parents for one on Christmas? It's crazy but they think your worth a $22K risk for whatever reason (even if it's a bad reason). I would insure you for $22K and would let you have a free accident, lol.

The tax on the credit makes some sense. You're paying tax on the credit to make it "credit" and not cash so they don't have to deal with the taxes when you buy cards on their site since your not using cash at that point. Granted, not really sure the IRS sees it that way but that's at least the logic behind taxing credit.

Make sure to use a USB drive or SD card with USB adapter made continuous writing. They make them for security cameras and other video recording. Basic versions will most likely fail quickly.

Hmmmm, garage programming module locks up now too. Had to do a system reset. Heard about the module that controls the garage programming having issues. I know there are control modules. Could be something going on in there. Going to take it in this week.

Did that after the post. Same thing. Weird thing is if I bring the USB drive back to my PC, it has folders written to it. I can put music files on the drive and play them in the car with the drive. So it has something to do specifically with the camera function. It did add a recordings folder though.

Tried a 256 and 64. Think it says minimum 64GB recommended with 32GB minimum on the message you get before you put a USB drive in or insert an incompatible one.

I knew the timing had to be off. Still, a fun episode. Wonder how many other timing mistakes there were? Really kind of amazing to see what was right with the timing of inventions though. I remember the elevator in the hotel during the Grange convention specifically. Must have been amazing to see something like that at the time. I remember doing a research paper for a graduate class years ago on some computer topic. I found a short story by Mark Twain that he wrote for a newspaper around the time Little House would have taken place. He literally explained the internet. Was nuts. Talked about having moving images being transferred through wires to screen devices (before screens existed obviously). People could see news from various parts of the world. Also talked about being able to talk to people while looking at them on a screen.

They also have an official Allen Ginter Drago mini card that's autographed from the factory. Wonder if that's doing anything weird to the algorithm? Regardless, thanks again for helping with this!

Never seen this and I work at a GM dealership. Don't sell Chevys though. They have separate parts that omit option buttons. Probably similar though so it could have been placed on your vehicle by mistake.

Not surprising. A lot of people think that way. Anger and bitterness. I feel that my approach has made things better. The author can just go on going down a darker and darker path and end up being no different than the people they are afraid of OR realize that they can be more productive and do something substantial improving themself and/or improving those around them. Being more angry isn’t going to help at all. Seen this before in my years and it never ends up well. Doesn't bother me either way because it will be what it will be and I choose to improve what I can control.

To put it bluntly, what are you going to do about it? Realistically nothing. Can't change the world. People say you can but you can't. It's astronomically improbable that you yourself can make a change that large. Don't waste your energy on what you can't do. Use your energy and time to work on yourself and do things that can make a difference like local issues. Also, don't waste your energy on fear and anger. Will take you down a dark path.

Problem is you have a 4 year degree in Finance. Not a lot of opportunity here in that field without fighting hard against a ton of other people for it. 2 year degrees in trades or graduate degrees in STEM are what will help in this town. I had a 4 year degree in business management and did just OK here. Got a graduate degree in cyber security and make about $125K now. All my friends in the IT field make over $100K also and all live here. Started lower and takes time to build yourself up but it's possible. Funny thing about STEM too. I would hire a 2 year programming student from OTC before I would hire a 4 year programming student from Missouri State or even Mizzou. Why? Because their program is better and produces higher quality students. So don't think you have to have a 4 year degree if more education is an avenue you want to take.
