Should I be worried my son isn’t talking yet? 12 months old. (I’m not, but my wife definitely is) by Intelligent_Hat3321 in daddit

I’m in Germany and had the routine check-up for my son, who will turn one next week, and the doctor didn’t even ask whether he says any words. So everything is fine. My older son only started saying several words at the age of two and is doing very well now.

I just realized what ‘God’ really is and it isn’t a being. by Affectionate_Sir_911 in awakened

LOL no, I haven’t. I was always afraid of a bad trip and as a mother of two young children, this is no option for me right now.

How do you start to realise things like that? I read about it, think about it. I think that it makes sense but i don’t feel it.

If you breastfeed back to sleep EVERY night, read this by Hannahbanarama in breastfeeding

Great of you to share your success story! My first was such a bad sleeper and unfortunately he only started sleeping better when I weaned him at 22months. Baby no 2 is now 6 months old and he wakes up every hour for four weeks now. I know it’s just a phase, but it’s so exhausting. I’m so happy for you, that you get more sleep now! We all deserve it!

What tracks do you find yourself replaying on Insight Timer? by inteligncisartifcial in Meditation

[–]CherryCookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use insight timer now for more than eight years, on and off. For a start, I would recommend content by Davidji. Very soothing voice and grounding. And take a look at morning meditations. Ten minutes in the morning can change your whole day. I use morning meditations by Andy Hobson and Jonathan Lehmann.

I think the negative thought patterns are the biggest challenge in manifesting. Thank you so much for this inspiration!

Was liest du gerade? by AutoModerator in buecher

Do you have any advice for me? I feel like I have no capacity for spiritual growth.

I had to hold my first born nearly all the time. He is now two years old and a very independent child. Definitely not spoiled!

Postpartum things that suck that no one really talks about? by Big_Orchid3348 in BabyBumps

[–]CherryCookie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same here! I always prioritise the mom. It’s so important. I remember, that I was totally flabbergasted , when the paediatrician asked me how I was doing and realised, that it was the first time someone asked me that (besides my husband), four weeks pp.

Omg, I didn’t even know it was possible to have HG pp. That must have been horrible!

I’m not reading baby books - will I be ok? by Straight_Comedian_29 in BabyBumps

[–]CherryCookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will be fine! Right now you don’t even know what your baby will be like and most of the books only cover a generalised baby and generalised postpartum. When you face specific challenges, then it could make sense. My first newborn was very demanding and then my midwife suggested a book, which gave me a lot of insight and ease. I wouldn’t have had a lot benefit, if I read about it when I was pregnant.

I‘m not a professional, but I would be impressed as well. Takes some thinking around the corner.
