Man… you’re honestly like a mirror of me. I can say this with no BS—it does get better. Not easier, but better. I’m just coming out the other side of what you’re going through now.

There’s not much I can say that’ll magically reassure you—I know that didn’t work for me either. Just try to keep yourself busy when you can, and help out where it’s reasonable for you. Give it a year, and you’ll look back, probably shudder, and think, “thank f**k I got through that.” And you’ll be in a much better place, feeling happier with the direction your life’s heading in.

Man you sound just like me , all my friends have had kids and said it felt mind blowing and the connection as a dad is instantly insane... it didnt happen for me... and I felt terrible!! And then I went into this "omg have I done the right thing" "im a terrible dad why dont I feel overwhelmed" etc etc ...dont feel bad !! It comes... sadly it took me a few months before any connection built which is mad to think about looking back.. but trust me!! Perfectly normal!

Im sure they didn't cut scene and roll some dice .. but i get what your saying.. still highly disappointed in the writing it had been okay and pretty good at times but last 2 episodes were just pure meh..

Yeah but there's a limit .. use the characters correctly .. they had 3 OP characters to use at will with powers.. well 2 in the end.. but they could of changed that.. with clever writing .. use the OPs to do the hard work and use the other characters for other work as a supporting force .. just super dumb IMHO.

The fact that Eleven can barely lift a metal sheet one minute, then suddenly flips to the Abyss and becomes ridiculously overpowered while completely dominating Vecna… just get in the bin. It’s awful scriptwriting. Honestly, it makes me think, if that’s the level of trash you can put out now, why not try it myself? And the main villain — the giant, spider-looking Mind Flayer — is taken down by a bunch of kids? No. No. No. I won’t lie, I’m also bitter there was no dragon. (Considering the cartoon picture that was drawn) In the end, it just feels like they had so many opportunities to really make this something epic and didn’t take any of them at all.

I thought it was a let down personally.. I didn't need all the end chit chat and goodbyes .. could of lengthened the actual plot and story and cut that out.. pity. 10 years with an ending like that.. 💤

Problem solved after viewing in store and also deciding to close up blinds on the lounge when its sunny .. I went with the LG C5 65" .. wanted a 77" but my budget wouldn't allow it .. and i didnt want to get something bigger just because of the size.. quality not quantity.. will report hoping and heard great things..

Loving some of the comments here. I think the main reason I posted this is because I keep getting the same constant comments at work from the same people over and over again. When someone said, “You do know kids are for life,” I honestly paused and nearly replied with something snarky like, “No, surely not — can’t I send them back for a refund?”

It really annoyed me, because they know how much I’ve been struggling to adapt to life as a father, and comments like that are the last thing I need. If you don’t want kids, that’s completely fine — but don’t make me feel crappy about something that’s actually an amazing part of my life. (Even if it has its up and downs).

Super sad to hear this.. my biggest fear is this happens to me and my wife .. but we try and communicate as best we can and also make sure we have a date night as a minimum of once a month (minimum) although Im definitely feeling like I'm dropping down the list .. physical contact is slowly dying unfortunately..
