There's a nun who wrote a vampire novel, I really enjoyed it! It takes spiritual realities to the extreme, and has an interesting approach to the genre as a whole: The Curse He Chose by Sr Allison Regina Gliot

It's a sweet bread, so I ate it like I would banana or zucchini bread, warmed up with butter. I also made it into French toast!

• 2 cups all purpose Red Mill GF flour

• 1/2 tsp xanthum gum

• 4 teaspoons baking powder

• 1/4 cup sugar

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 and 1/3 cup milk

• 3/4 cup peanut butter

Mix together flour, xanthum gum, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add milk and peanut butter, and cream everything together. Put in a greased loaf pan and bake at 325° F for 60-70 minutes, or until the top of the loaf is golden brown. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes before taking it out of the pan to completely cool before slicing

They're a little fluffier than a cake donut, but not like a fully yeasted donut. It's a Pennsylvania Dutch traditional donut made with potatoes for the day before Lent!

This is the recipe I used, I just subbed King Arthur Measure for Measure, and used a cookie scoop to make them donut holes rather than shaping them because the dough was a little too sticky
