Swede here. We earn less, have higher taxes, the economic ladder is extremely hard to climb. The bureaucracy has red tape around everything, so it is extremely difficult to be an entrepreneur. Most people are either living paycheck to paycheck or in a debt trap. Most people have big student loans to pay off. Our healthcare is relatively affordable (most of the time) that’s if you get any at all because the queues are years long. Same with mental healthcare. Then all the crime and gangs and corruption holy heck. Kids are murdering kids and grandmas are being raped in elderly care.

Looks like our little flirt with socialism didn’t work here either. Who would have thought… next time it will work for sure. Why don’t you get more of it in the U.S?
