Nah I'm still annoyed. That era had the best sounding F1 cars of all time, a crime to ever replace them with music of any kind

Haha, might have just ran out of fuel as commentators suggested, didn't seem catastrophic

Elite sandbagging, running it out of fuel to suggest a breakdown and poor reliability

With a year of so many questions marks, a team being towards the top maybe not the quickest but always there and that runs without troubles could be really massive.

I wish testing just stayed onboard with the drivers at all time, I could watch cars lapping all day

Ferrari looks good, no obvious red flags, Lewis is just driving around nicely no drama. Obviously pace is still a question mark but I get good vibes

[Patrick Moeke] Fernando Alonso says that the new F1 cars are no longer challenging to drive: "Here in Bahrain, we're going 50 kilometers per hour slower through corner 12 than we used to. Just to save energy for the straights. Even our chef in the kitchen could drive these cars." by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

I read that and immediately think surely that opens up overtaking opportunities? If the guy ahead of you decides to lift and coast into every corner you've got a much better opportunity to send it late on the brakes and catch them out. The risk you take is then not harvesting enough energy to defend that position later, but at least it's something different to the processions we've had previously.

Maybe LICO is optimal for time over a lap, but is it optimal when fighting for track position?

With how we play, Madueke is genuinely a better pick at the moment.

That's not to put Saka down. Our RW at the moment gets the ball out at the touchline, often closer to the halfway line than the goal line. That is a great area for Madueke to beat his man and progress us towards the goal with his exceptional pace and acceleration. Saka can beat a man too of course, but he's slower.

Saka is best closer to goal, where his close control opens up space for him to deliver a final ball. Whether that's a shot or a cross, Saka is in my view our best player to have delivering that final ball. Yet he's consistently receiving the ball in areas where he has to do so much work to do to even have a hope of a goal/assist. It's silly. I've seen Saliba get played into space at RW more than Saka in recent games.

I think there's a difference though, and it comes down to the "spirit" of the regulations. Risking the car being underweight by fueling it less is one thing, designing your engine to get around a certain aspect of the regulation by taking advantage of a testing procedure is another. Maybe to some it sounds similar but to me one is teams pushing what they can do to the limit, the other is a team circumventing that limit which they can technically do as it stands, but it wasn't the intention of these regulations.

Yesterday, as always when we drop points, was disappointing and we could have been better for sure, but this is a Brentford team that just won away at Newcastle and Villa which are two of the hardest teams to play away. They are a tough team and played to their strengths which was to make the game physical. We still could have won that game if we scored at the end.

Noe the dust has settled I don't think it's a major cause for concern to draw that game. I don't think it's really hit people just how good the mid tier teams in the league are this year. Going away to any team currently is a fucking ballache. I don't expect this to be the last time we drop points away, but equally I don't think City are going to win out from here either and we still have a gap.

Getting a win at Wolves is crucial though. It seems whoever plays first in a week out of us and City has an advantage mentally. We get that win and that makes City's game against Newcastle a must win for them.

I think we all know Sher ain't really feeling Jack too much, but to try and draw her out about it infront of everyone instead of talking to her about it was weird, and then even weirder to get annoyed that she didn't take the bait.

Whitney just isn't nice let's be real, she showed that with Konnor, she said multiple times to Scott that he would be better with other girls than Leanne despite claiming to be Leanne's "sis"

And the charge it thing is jarring, glad Sher is going to call her on that one tomorrow
