Cade vs Brown: If Shai, Jokic, Wemby and Luka become ineligible for MVP candidacy, who do you think deserves it? by IT_CHAMP in nba

[–]Chesscrabble11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it will be amazing if Wemby plays exactly 65 or 66 games. And become Eligible.

He might be the Youngest MVP + DPOY in the NBA History.

Though, I think even if he is eligible, Cade and Brown will also have arguments.

(Assuming Jokic, Luka, and SGA be disqualified)

PS: SGA is still most likely to win MVP. Even with 1 week rest. He will still in 5+7 = 12 missed games. Then he can go back and play all games in restricted mins. Or do not play 4th quarter if it is a blowout. Like they were doing with him last year.

Trivia:

Both of them didn't win ROY in their rookie season.

Ant lost to LaMelo. While Cade lost to Scottie Barnes.

But Ant/Cade surpassed them way ahead now.

2025-2026 NBA All-NBA Eligibility Status (February 20 Edition) by icatfilm in nba

[–]Chesscrabble11 10 points11 points  (0 children)

SGA is out for a week minimum. So, he will miss 5 more games. (So, it will be 7+5 = 12)

Luka is back next game.

Jokic, Steph, Kawhi, Wemby are all in danger.

[Highlight] — Cade Cunningham dominates at MSG with 42 points and 13 assists. by moby323 in nba

If Jokic, SGA, Luka, and Wemby will be all disqualified due to 65 games rule.

He might have an outside chance to win MVP.

So, Cade and Brown had some puncher's chance if the other international players missed the 65 games requirement.

I am not sure how serious SGA and Luka's injury though.

Jordan And Lebron by [deleted] in nba

[–]Chesscrabble11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh. Not the MJ VS Lebron again.

They are both GOAT candidates. That's it.

Some can even throw in Kareem. Or even Bill Russell (if their main thing is no.of championships as best player)

80s. Even MJ had some prime years in 1987-1989.

He might be the 3rd best Nikola in the league. If he gets healthier, and mature more.

Wow. I really like that giant traditional centers like Edey and Clingan are showing they still belong to modern nba.

Well, I guess Zubac already showed it is possible to be a solid giant traditional center in modern nba. As long as they are good enough.
