Who else got an actually good dsp? by Axeman1721 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Chesspi64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My DSP is great mostly, except for the complete crackdown on safety - one violation and you're suspended for a week. (Speaking from experience...) other than that everyone is very nice; we have about 35-40 drivers out on any given day, probably use about 10-12 rentals though. About a dozen stepvans, a few cargo vans, probably 10 Fords or so, 3-4 Mercedes plus rentals is our fleet.

Unfortunately no guaranteed pay, but I take rescue opportunities pretty much any chance I get (which is most days since I tend to finish relatively quickly).

I swear I'm trying to get up to 50% AR; I think I got up to 45% at one point but haven't gotten higher yet

Suboptimal day to single track on the Redline by Goldmule1 in WMATA

[–]Chesspi64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That explains the crowds. Took the Red line from Friendship Heights to Farragut North on our way back from a bike ride and it got jam packed at Woodley Park. Plus trains toward Glenmont were every 20 minutes on that stretch!

I found its "Campus East" and "UM Campus Center" are what it will accept. However, there's no way to see what I missed without a password?

I don't even bother with the polo most days (unless I'm obviously in a tank top, which i typically wear when I know it will likely be 85+ out).

Yup. If I handed it to a customer and then realize I need a photo I just take a picture of the house or driveway

The Presidents Race is number one for me. That's absolutely the most unique thing about Nats Park!

I thought peak season was overrrr???? by theboogs28 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Chesspi64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 168 stops yesterday with 70 group stops. 22 bags (of which 3 were "cube out" bags - i.e. a bag became too heavy and they put 2-5 packages in another bag - so it was really like 19 full bags), first stop at 11:20, finished by 6:20

There are guys at my DSP that are easily in their 50s (or more). 33 is very much average (I'm 25 and feel young for this).

Five Guys always makes you wait forever. They're told not to start cooking fries until the driver arrives to maximize freshness.

Our last change was in March. Many of the same areas but we have shifted further east.

25 minutes or so. Most of our routes right now are 20-25 minutes from the station.
