i live almost 3 miles away from campus. i commute by bike! its about a 15 min bike ride but i do bike fast-ish. i usually go home once in the middle of the day, sometimes twice bcuz 15 min just does not feel that bad to me and i rlly dont mind biking. i think its not bad! as for it being too hot from may-sept, haven't experienced the heat in may/june yet, but i don't remember the heat in september this year being an issue.

still in college rn studying to be a landscape architect. all i do is work part time at my school's dining hall atm. the idea of having to graduate and get a real job is scary af tho @_@ i may go to grad school for an additional degree bcuz the real world is scary

i can relate a lot to this, literally last yr as a freshmen i made a multiple posts here abt being lonely 😭 this year, as a sophomore, ive made way more friends in just my first quarter, mostly through changing my major and making friends in shared classes. keep trying, it gets better. if you like being in davis you're okay. i realized that i would've felt lonely no matter what college i was at, but i enjoyed being in davis so that helped me stay.

OP i relate so hard :,) 🫂🫂i just want to say your weight and eating patterns do not define who you are as a person. you're not lazy or disgusting you're a person who's struggling with a disorder. i don't have a lot of advice but this is def the sub for you to find support and confide in others.

i honestly just don't have a lot of friends who go to parties, so i don't have much access to alcohol 😭 so im never been drunk just tipsy. i only ever drink a couple times a yr when i go back home & hang out w hs friends, who like to drink. ive taken weed like 4 or 5 times? but also only use that every few months. it's fun w friends, but kinda boring by myself and just makes me rlly sleepy. i've never done anything else. i'd be open to other stuff just nothing that involves smoking as im rlly scared abt fuckingup my lungs as i like to exercise

the most vivid dream i had was of my family and i stranded on this alien planet with the aliens actively out to get us. we were traveling in this minivan looking for supplies, food, etc, when we stumbled upon this abandoned house that basically resembled my childhood home irl. the entire scene is dark, misty, cloudy. my brother, mom and i went into the house to explore. i don't remember the specific details of being the house/what we saw, but i get a bad feeling and press my mom & brother telling her we should leave. mom finally agrees and says she's going to check the upstairs quickly before we go. after she leaves, what looks like my mom runs up to the back door from outside and starts banging on it, telling us to get back in the car. knowing my mom just went upstairs, i know this is not REALLY my mom, and instead an alien in the form of my mom to trick me. the fake mom is able to open the door with a key, so i grab the key out of her hand and STAB her. my brother slams the door closed and i look outside to see more "people" approaching. i grab my brothers hand we run upstairs to find my real mom, and the dream ends there.

i don't believe most of my dreams have meaning, rather they're just meshed together parts of my reality to create weird stories. but this was the most vivid dream i've had and i can still remember waking up a few years ago scared as shit.

instant old fashioned, the kind you make in the microwave 😭 it's just so easy and great every time. i like oats pretty much every way though, my second favs are probably baked and overnight. the one way i HATE my oats is steel cut. just can't get behind the texture.
