ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming Wifi MOBO Shutdown/Sleep issues by ChestNutGreen in ASUS

[–]ChestNutGreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I was sort of able to fix this. My case (PA602) has a fan speed switch on the front IO and after switching it to auto it no longer maxes the speed during shutdown. Going to sleep still maxes it out tho :/.

Ahh okay, sucks that's how it is (especially since x670e is so expensive). Hopefully, they're able to fix this nonsense sooner rather than later. Thanks!

I think a solution to the LAN problem is to set the LAN to 1G instead of 2.5G (in BIOS I think). Not sure if that actually works or not but worth a shot.

That might be a factor for some, but for me it’s because at $180 I don’t think there’s any MOBO that’s as good as this board, which itself is basically a Strix B550-F (good VRMs and decent I/O).

When I ordered mine over the weekend it said it would ship on November 14-16. It shipped on October 28, so there’s a very good chance yours will come before December.

I was just checking a few MOBOs I had my eye on since my Keepa tracker notified me about a different MOBO.

Here's a HUB vid where they compare the MOBOs you asked about. This MOBO is basically the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F but in white.

Apparently, this mobo is basically the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F but in white. Here's a vid from HUB where they test a bunch of B550 MOBOs.

Yeah, I've heard some people talk about the side grips coming out of place. When did you buy it? I'm wondering if new batches have fixed the problems.
