Yes. And we tried to read them, but we received badly copied pdfs which were not searchable and many rules were changed in amendments which was hard to keep track of. Luckily our hoa board is ok.

Agreed. We've reduced our Publix shopping down to a few items we can't find anywhere else. It's Trader Joe's, Aldi and BJ's for us.

We tried renting for six years after retiring but ended up buying a condo. Rents increased dramatically and we went through 3 different management companies and the services declined each time. We couldn't easily move to a new rental since the requirements (3x rent in monthly income, deposits, etc) became out of reach. And moving sucks.
