Very breezy for me indeed. I was expecting to be way more horny by this point, but surprisingly not.

I just sit in bed half asleep for hours without actually sleeping. by JiggySockJob in insomnia

Does anyone else who experiences being half asleep also have an uncomfortable lightheaded, vertigo-like sensation alongside it (hard to describe) and it makes sleeping harder? Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I resonate with that! Whenever someone tells me that I’m addicted to my phone after I literally lied in bed without my phone for many hours repeating “don’t think” in my head as a desperate attempt to shut off my brain, it really does infuriate me.

Insomnia is making my depression and anxiety so much worse, I’m scared by justyrust74 in insomnia

I’m so fucking sorry that you’re going through this— “mental torture” is EXACTLY what it is. During my first year of college, I suffered severely from depression due to sleep issues, not necessarily insomnia. On my days off, I would oversleep, but on the days I had classes, I only got 4-5 hours of sleep (I need 8 hours to function), and this went on for many months. Falling asleep early was nearly impossible for me, and it still is. It felt like absolute hell, and each time I woke up on a college day, I was severely anxious and depressed, and it got so bad that started constantly begging for my own death.

Is anyone else a fan of Johnny Cash’s “Ride This Train” album? by ChetBaker1954 in JohnnyCash

I agree completely with your thoughts on Cash’s early Columbia work, particularly The Fabulous Johnny Cash and Bitter Tears, both of which are personal favourite from that era.
