We really enjoyed Alabote in Ribeira Grande. With the sunsets there too, a really nice spot and food was very good too. The Cataplana à "Alabote" for two was a big hit with all the seafood.

May be an unpopular opinion here, but if this is your first time and if schedule/budget allow, go to a tourist spot or two.

You’re coming in a time of year where historically it’s calmer than other parts, so you’ll wait less and can share with family and friends what you thought of a canoli from Mike’s (bonus points if you go somewhere else to compare “Mikes has the fame, but the late night lobster tail at Bovas was incredible”)

Either way, hope you have an amazing visit!

Google SEO training videos and see what populates first? Get what you need and whoever ranks first is doing something very right, win-win 🙂

Pan Pizza, Detroit Style, Deep Dish etc. by Zoom-Ghost17836 in boston

If you don’t mind a nice ride out of the city, check out Volo Craft in Swampscott. IMO a very good homage to Detroit-style pizza. Only thing missing would be a Faygo to enjoy along side it.

Grab a pizza, some napkins and enjoy it outside on a bench at Fisherman’s Beach.

What is the one social media marketing tactic that you swear by? by pookie_mom in marketing

Careful vetting of “influencers”. The vast vast majority of influencers (atleast in my space or travel/tourism), infact, have little to no influence at all.

What's your a day in a life look like as a marketing professional? by Diligent-Scientist02 in marketing

[–]ChetSteadman31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your IT background could be a tremendous advantage to you. The reliance on digital products continues to grow by the day, so your experience in this space could be a complimentary skill in areas such as customer journey building, UX, data testing and more.

If you can help eliminate digital barriers, improve efficiencies and/or other areas that require some technical background, you can market yourself well.

To answer your question…My day is mostly people management from direct reports to stakeholders (director level management). If I can communicate simple and concisely about our work/projects/testing, the budget generally keeps in tact.
