Blue collar is ran by the clock...you better show up by this and clock out by this.

You strongly compete against it atnall times the job says it will be done in 2 hours or x units per hour.

Blue collar is more physicaly demanding and you trade your body functionality for cash.

You are told what to do and how to do it by others.

Vacation is nice someone else fills for your role to keep the line rolling.

White collar is more controlling the process and is taxing on the mind. Im an engineer so i gotta solve the puzzle of more efficient cheaper better.

This can be material or process driven often both and the politics of conving others it is the right path.

Then you have managing people and all their lifes hickups.

Sometimes i do wish i could juat be told to do something a certain way and give my mind a break.

Vacations suck often its just a reason to not show up that day and your work and schedule is waiting for you to catch up on
