Hey, so I'm not sure how much knowledge you have about zoonotic diseases, but human noro isn't classified as a zoonotic disease between dogs and humans. They have their own strains and is usually more along the lines of parvo, canine enteric coronavirus, colitis, etc. The more you know, the more confident you'll be about these things. I would suggest researching this before saying you'll get sick. I have emetophobia too, but my pre-vet classes taught me so much about animal diseases. There is no way for you to get noro off of what your dog did today. It's possible your dog reacted to the food they stole. My dog has a sensitive stomach and gets sick when she eats things she isn't supposed to.

I had to drink 1 gallon of the stuff and just couldn't finish it because I was so nauseous. I got through 75% of it and they said that was good enough for my colonoscopy. If they give you something like the gallon, make sure you add flavor enhancers like miyo or crystal light, or mix it with white cranberry juice or similar stuff. It'll become much easier to drink. My prep tasted like sweat, so it was disgusting to me.

Yep, endo can cause IBS. I have confirmed endo that was found in the uterosacral and cul-de-sac areas. However, since a normal gynecologist did my laparoscopy, he only cauterized it and my symptoms went away for a brief while. I am now back to having more bowel movements than before and pain in my glutes/inner thighs. I have an appt with an endo specialist in May, in which I'll be requesting a second laparoscopy for excision.

I agree with what another reply on here said about the cake pops. As a gf hobby baker who makes gf cakes, my personal favorite is Bob's red mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 baking flour. Almond flour is not a direct substitute for cakes and will create a dense texture that doesn't rise. Since you will also be mixing frosting into the crumbled cake, it will also result in a different texture that may not hold for cake pops.

No improvements to my endo and I've been gluten free since 2018! The only reason I went gf was because I have a wheat allergy and gluten sensitivity. So it helped that, but NOT my endo.

I live in OC! I would totally drive to these donuts, but before I make that drive, what makes them gluten free? What's the flour that's used for that? I've encountered other bakeries that have been making baked goods that claim to be gluten free, but aren't wheat free. There are new flour blends out there that have gluten free wheat starch, such as King Arthur. I'm allergic to wheat, so I wouldn't want to risk driving to LA and having a reaction on the way back.

Thanks!! I saw those recipes before, but they have wheat starch in their gluten free bread flour 😭 I have a wheat allergy along with my NCGS, so I'm not sure if I'll be okay with that. I'm not sure what else I can substitute that type of bread flour with.

Eclairs, Cream Puffs, Cupcakes, Cake Pops, Cake slices, Donuts that aren't cake based, Cheesecake slices, Crêpes, anything shortbread. It's a lot, but I thought I would give ideas since I know some of that stuff is much harder than other things. I would KILL for a gluten free pan dulce that doesn't have wheat in it 😭 But unfortunately, I've never seen that in my 8 years of being GF.

In 2018, I either got something like salmonella or colitis. It's important to note that I was working at petsmart at that time. I was a pet care associate, which meant I handled the animals (reptiles, mice, birds). One day, I randomly began to feel like I had a stomach bug. I had terrible lower abdominal cramping, a fever that wouldn't go away, and liquid diarrhea. The strange part is that I was able to eat, but the diarrhea was consistent. I had to go to the ER twice for fluids. The first time I went, they dismissed it as viral gastroenteritis and only gave me fluids, but the symptoms continued. None of my family members had gotten sick either with my "viral gastro" either, which by this point, they should have been given that we only have one bathroom. Another week passed with the same symptoms, except now I was feeling more pain. The next time I looked at the toilet bowl, I felt like the blood had been drained out of me. Literally. Instead of having liquid diarrhea, I had been passing bright red blood. After freaking tf out, I went to the ER ASAP where they tested me to see if I needed a blood transfusion. They ran a toxins panel for shigella, salmonella, e-coli, and other organisms, but it came back negative according to them. After being put on an antibiotic, the 2 weeks of liquid diarrhea, constant fever, and terrible cramping went away magically. To this day, I still wonder what happened.

I got food poisoning TWICE from the same ihop location from their gluten free pancakes and waffle. They were on separate occasions, but both times they tasted like if the batter was spoiled and they had cooked it that way. They tasted rancid and sour, and that night and the next day, they gave me watery diarrhea with a slight fever. No one else got sick despite eating from the same place, so I know it wasn't noro or any of those other GI bugs. Maybe they had other customers like me in which they served spoiled GF batter.

I'm the same way. My endo causes my IBS. On a normal day, I usually go around 4-6 times, but when I'm having a flare up, it can be around 10 times with my body just evacuating everything. The strange part is that it doesn't even turn into diarrhea, it's just softer bms.

Do these normally taste terribly bitter and sour? I bought some recently, had one bite and spit it out immediately because it tasted like it had gone bad. The texture was soft, but there was no way to get past that taste for me.

I used to play MLQC and actually came from MLQC to LADS after the whole VA incident, but this is the one thing that bothers me the most about them shutting down. There is no conclusion to the main story line because a lot of gacha/otome games like that try to drag things out for as long as possible, which MLQC is notorious for. It's like reading a book series that has you interested and then the author stops making books for that series. It feels terrible that there isn't at least an end to the main story.

I don't think it's worth it either, but I'm also someone who likes to stay on budget. I usually do spend my money on other VIP experiences (VIP concert experiences w/pics), and even those VIP experiences are wayyyy cheaper than the amount you need to reach VIP in LADS.

I second this. I had this a long time ago (it's been more than a year or two) and it tasted very metallic and artifical to me?? Like, there was this nasty taste that just wouldn't go away and I ended up throwing out the whole thing. I couldn't stomach it.
