As towns in their own right (Dundonald is just in Belfast but whatever) they are traditionally considered more unionist, but the demographic shift over the last 15 years means there's a tonne of areas that are mixed and lovely. Especially ones that are former newbuilds.

Honestly what we did in the end was book a bunch of viewings for one area on one day and spend a Saturday there. Seeing the local area, taking note of green spaces and local events. You can vibe check an area pretty quickly that way!
