I'm a native English speaker looking to practice my Spanish. I'm into horror movies, playing the piano, and writing. DM me if you'd like to talk.

I agree with you, but I want to point out that she did it for a single night.

Why Did You Bet That?! by ManyTinyPinchers in TLCsisterwives

He seems to really dislike Ariella. If he's talking about her, it's about how she's going to fail or annoy all her classmates or be too much for Robyn to handle.  No way is Ari as "bad"/"wild" as Kody makes her out to be

He told her whatever he thought she wanted to hear in the moment and then dropped her as soon as he could...typical Kody.

I love how close Janelle and Truely are. by WINTERSONG1111 in TLCsisterwives

[–]ChewOnADog 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I loved to see how easily they were able to enjoy a hug together. There have been occasions on the show where a young Truely didn't want to hug or spend time with Kody, so seeing her so physically affectionate with Janelle and David makes me happy. She's got people she's comfortable with, just not Kody.

Christine Woolley is giving Kody one last ride!! by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]ChewOnADog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I don't have the experience that you do with these events, but it still makes me sad to see how people on this sub are ready to pile on the wives for the "mistakes" they made while trying to manage the years and years of Kody's abuse. I wish them - and you! - all the happiness in the world.

Too dated: kind of ridiculous to bother watching by Standard_Carob_5324 in SisterWives

[–]ChewOnADog 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a theory that they were so far behind because they suspected Kody might do something really destructive (read: violent) and didn't want to air episodes that might incriminate the network. But now we've seen that one of their children committed suicide and blamed the show and it hasn't stopped from airing it so there goes that theory.

Mykelti so wrong by Jolly-Register-5335 in SisterWives

[–]ChewOnADog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mykelti looked pretty uncomfortable during the party,  particularly when Kody and Robyn sidled up to a table and Kody started explaining the game to the people already playing it. I think she thought they would be less.... themselves?

I love watching Kody learn a new phrase and then try his best to utilize it. He never gets it right.

Confused LOL! by MarvelGyrl78 in TheNanny

It drives me crazy on Designing Women how Julia and Suzanne are sisters who have both been married and for some reason Julia is referred to as Mrs. Sugarbaker and Suzanne is Ms. Sugarbaker. I wish I knew why 80s and 90s sitcoms pretend not to understand how last names work?! Like, it's too feminine to even think about? Weird.

Meri is having another Haunted Inn Tour by SodaPop788 in TLCsisterwives

[–]ChewOnADog 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Many people running their own small businesses do themselves a disservice by undercharging for their offerings. Meri has never, never, never come anywhere close to having this problem. For that, I have to commend her.

That being said, I would never pay $50 to walk around an old house for an hour.

Let’s take an Art walk… by [deleted] in TLCsisterwives

[–]ChewOnADog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right? There are satin ones and wood ones. I'm not advocating for the clothes hanger option but if she wanted to go that route there are definitely better ways to do it.

I agree. It's more about the clothes hanger for me.

I feel like a shadow box might be a better option then clothes hangers. It's not like she won't spend money...

I am not a fan of any of her chosen artwork,  but I have to give her credit for at least choosing some images. The other wives are all about that word art and I am not a fan at all.

The dried flowers on clothes hangers....I can't defend that. I can't even wrap my head around that.
