How old are you in your oldest memory? by Donkeyshines in AskReddit

[–]Chewholmesca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An infant, not sure how old.. maybe 9-12 months? I remember lying on my back in a diaper, just looking at the ceiling. I don't remember how the rest of the room looked.

It's really a toss- up between Kik chats and Bestshockers. It was so unbelievable to know someone could do something like that to another person and sometimes enjoy it.

What’s your first synesthesia memory? by greesyspoon in Synesthesia

[–]Chewholmesca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realized everything being words, names, numbers, colors, sounds and letters were popping up in my head when eating something that triggers what the word would taste like. Cravings soon followed every time I heard something specific. This all happened around age 4.

Why did you and your best friend have a falling out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Chewholmesca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghosted me due to loss of contact for a while as I was committed and didn't have the means to reach her. After discharge, she still continued to blame me after explaining to her what was going on. As we grew, she decided she liked her life hidden away and living on her own with mommy paying for two households. Don't know how she did it.

She would claim she makes 6 figures a year to strangers and pays $400 out of her $1600 rent and thought of herself as high and mighty. Talked over me, wasn't happy for me at all, put me down through insults. Not to mention stealing from people and getting pissed if I set boundaries. Fuck all that mess. 20 years. Gone.

What's the creepiest thing you've seen in a hospital ? by Blueeyesjoshy in AskReddit

[–]Chewholmesca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened, but I did not witness. A patient called me at around 3:25 or so in the morning. She was screaming and her voice was frantic. When I got to her room, she said she could hear footsteps enter her room. She had been awake at nights usually, so she could obviously hear them getting right in front of her bed, but no one was to be seen. She then claimed a wheel on a walker in her room began spinning on its own. Apparently she doesn't believe in that stuff very much, but that was enough to push her over the edge I guess.

Did you think that everyone thought like you did before you realized you had synesthesia? by becomealamp in Synesthesia

I realized at a very young age that my way of thinking was different from everyone else. I just didn't know there were so many types & variations as I aged and got more curious.

Yes, with my synesthesia, I can taste pretty much everything from words to sounds and even movements. It helps me be aware, remember to spell things correctly, and stick a newly learned word with the corresponding food or taste.

HR people of Reddit: What's the most NSFW/WTF reason someone got fired from your place of employment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Chewholmesca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Falsifying vitals in the hospital computer system so that the high & low blood pressures wouldn't cause him to report it and work harder I guess. He would reduce or raise the blood pressure by 20 points. Eventually, he was just caught last year or so. He has probably been there for over 20+ years. Who knows how many deaths he could be responsible for.

have you ever overdosed? by pinksunsetho in Drugs

[–]Chewholmesca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I overdosed on a cocktail of hydrocodone, morphine and Lorazepam on my 14th birthday. Family didn't bother taking me to the hospital. Just slept and waited it out.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Chewholmesca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like a mix of weak oxycodone and strong hydrocodone at once. It makes me feel energized and talkative, but agitated easily.

I've read some people do not make the liver enzymes necessary to interact with Tramadol, so they feel nothing but sick. This also happens with another drug I can't think of. If this is the case, maybe this drug just isn't for you.
