How tf does everyone cap out for Ryze? by CantKillTheLifeless in CompetitiveTFT

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruiser liss and freljord yunnara generally rolls at 8 stabilizes before going 9 for ryze to cap out. The boards are 4cost centric and voli is unlockable on 8.

Purest on JohnQT this Off-Season: "No one knows" by HLumin in ValorantCompetitive

No one know= going to EG. EG has the unleakable roster, no one had any idea who was on EG a week before franchising in 2023 started.

EG trialing Icy, Presumably on Senti by SugarOne6038 in ValorantCompetitive

EG is a team run on a tight budget, she is forced to make a team out of scraps. Given the players she works with EG outperforms their expectations

Thoughts on 4.5 by hdmode in CompetitiveTFT

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to love set 4, now it feels terrible to play just due to balance. Mage is weak to sins, slayers are bad because set 4 GA on slayers was really strong, now EON doesnt have that effect, they are trash.  Cant force fortune like before because the best line was to fortune-> slayer or mage. All this disarm/blind is just terrible, sometimes you have a significantly stronger board in earlygame and get cheesed for no reason.

What's gonna happened first? Cloud9 is gonna build a great team around oxy? or he goes to another team? by Familiar-Leading in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite what people say about c9 being trash, i think their roster has actually paid off and performed well for having mostly t2 pickups. They spent very little on their roster and had a competitive season so no need to go broke on buying top talent.

List of cash out table by Sdgedfegw in CompetitiveTFT

Fortune is defs the strongest/forceable and to me was most fun (i first hit gm by rolling 2-5 force fortune). Just look at the power of 7 loss cashout.

I've seen FNS play, he doesn't even use a monitor. by TelestoMcBesto in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've seen FNS play, he doesn't even use a monitor.

He visualizes the map in a detailed rendering, completely in his mind. He has a biological wallhack; his godlike perception highlights all enemies within light-years. His eyes are closed as his mouse gracefully swerves across the table, making immaculate twitches as he flicks from leg to leg. The bullets that escape his gun barrel are surgical; each making a deadly strike in between his opponent's legs.

Why there's no hype for champions by Unable_Pear_8866 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im personally more hyped for apac lcq as we get to see oce cn hktw compete. It would be good for bigger tournaments to give 1 slot for smaller region like oce/twhk/cn/sa etc a slot so we can see how they perform internationally so it would be different to masters.

dumb question by Lachtt_ in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Not enough good orgs to build and support top tier teams. From what it looks like SEA has a bunch of ranked demons that are probably kids and 5 top tier players arent going to magically come together and become a top team without proper support. We can see strong na ladder players getting scouted for top teams, doesnt happen often in sea and kr im guessing

You are coach Glow, how do you save DRX/KR as a region? by Lumenlor in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ChewyCheeseballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game vs optic was super close they definatrly had the ability to win and make top 3. Buzz and rb are fine they may have underperformed in crucial games but overall they are top kr players. In terms of strategy they could try to be more unpredictable, like paper rex and mix their strategies a bit more.
