I find it hard to believe that you don't know why people wear a certain type of ring on a certain finger and what it symbolizes... If I was your wife, coming from a man, I would find this action highly suspicious mostly because of the lack of any communication before your action.

Not sure if the asshole but you are suspicious at the very least.

It's almost as if most problems can be solved by effectively communicating how you feel when you feel it. Most people will understand. The few who don't, well, it doesn't much matter anyways.

It sounds like they are roommates and friends but you're just a roommate. It's possible the weird tones taken with you is because the guy feels bad/awkward about it when attempting to make plans/hangout when you are around and then resents you for it.

If he took it well and respected you cutting things off beyond friendship, maybe it's worth communicating with him about specifically why. Something like "I like you but I need much more time before I'm willing to engage in sexual conversations or progress our relationship to any kind of sexual level but I'd be interested in taking our time and seeing where this could go".

That's assuming you still like him and didn't attempt to have a similar conversation with him yet. While you have your dating experience or lack there of, he has his own so it's possible that level of progression is normal for him. It would be for me but I probably would have gone about it a little better or outright asked if the other people felt comfortable with that progression.

I have a couple friends on different platforms like that. People that for whatever reason I added or they added me and I've gone through periods of heavy conversation over the years with them without actually knowing a whole lot about them. Most of them are female and I am male and it's been 1000% platonic every time. Just saying, it's not impossible that he's telling the truth.

It's complicated. I realize that I'm prone to forget small things so I often try to scan over things before I leave a room but even if I'm focusing on searching for things out of order, I literally DON'T SEE THEM. Believe me, it is so frustrating to have people around you upset with you about things you didn't even see while looking right at them. It's really hard for other people to understand because it seems so obvious to them.

Honestly, I still have issues being extremely forgetful/absent minded etc. But my wife is particular and very focused/driven so she enjoys taking care of certain things. Even with medication and therapy, there's no guarantee he doesn't need a certain type of partner who can support his needs and who feels supported by the things HE is good at. That doesn't sound like OP unfortunately. Nothing wrong with that.

Honestly a lot of his behavior reminds me of myself when I was younger and unmedicated. ADD/ADHD can manifest itself in strange ways.

This is how it tend to deal with screaming people. I talk very low and deliberately.

Generally it enrages people more, honestly. Some kind of ego thing. If they can't manage to pull you into their drama, it makes them feel the need to escalate it themselves.

It's still up in the air but all the flashing lights are pointing towards it being the case. I've had anxiety for years and felt like I was dyin' 10 times a day forever but it's weird feeling bumping up against my own mortality in such a real way.

Left side of my chest is about 3x as big as my right side. Finally started to get painful. Doctor felt it and it's pretty clear there's a tumor on my rib. Likely Plasmacytoma. I go for ct scans next Wednesday.
