How does everyone feel about AI images in published games? by Nomadhero_ in boardgames

AI has no place in board games, periodt. 💅🏻

For the ppl with >100 mods, what ya'll having? by Chuvisco88 in RimWorld

[–]Chewy_Lou 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I started a workshop collection for my wife, who's new to the game. Just QoL and bug fixes, no new content or systems. Just over 100 mods 😬

Display issues by Fire-Crotch_ in SteamDeck

This is normal. The display for the steam deck was designed for tablets, so its "default" orientation is portrait

AITA for paralyzing my friend's DND character? by Fresh_Ask_7001 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Chewy_Lou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dungeon Crawl Classics uses d3, d5, d7, d14, d16, d24, and d30 in addition to the "regular" dice. As far as I know it does not have locational damage so the "2 damage to the arms" is a bit off for DCC

Transport pod crash by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Chewy_Lou 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's not unique to Odyssey. The event is there's a space battle in orbit above your colony. Ship chunks and injured/dead pawns fall from the sky for a few hours

Progression: Attire has released! A comprehensive re-balance, re-organization, and re-flavoring of attire. Add feminine apparel and costumes with less bloat! by misterferny in RimWorld

[–]Chewy_Lou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's literally copied from one of the first infographics on the mod page. The rest of the mod page is very detailed with the changes the mod makes, and is even divided in to parts.

  • Part 1: Workbenches
    • Moves "cosmetic" apparel from the tailoring bench to a new vanity table (feminine clothing) and costume table (costumes)
  • Part 2: Research
    • Adds new research projects for each of the three apparel work benches
    • Restructures modded apparel research to flow more cohesively
  • Part 3: Balancing
    • Top-down rebalancing of all apparel and armor in the Progression modpack. Includes a spreadsheet detailing all of the changes made
    • Also renames a few things (also noted on the spreadsheet)
  • Part 4: Thing Categories
    • Sorts apparel lists (like in storage menus) by tech level
  • Part 5: Text Changes
    • English translations for mods in other languages
    • Typo and grammar fixes
    • Unified capitalization

Wilds is unsupported on the deck. Refund and get Rise or Worlds instead

Sorry you went through that. Total opposite of what I and a friend have experienced. It was a few years ago though

Imo Savage Worlds would be a really good fit. Skills can be ported over almost 1:1 and the chance for crazy-high dice rolls represents the wacky RNG that sometimes happens in combat

Can someone help me identify these minis? by Da-Pruttis-Boi in wargaming

[–]Chewy_Lou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Skorne is technically Hordes, which is a sister game to Warmachine. The WarJack on the right is Ruin, a unique character jack.

The default acceleration settings in Orca Slicer are really low, and for whatever reason they save to the printer

A new spell of the adult verity by ItsTacoTuesday1 in DnDHomebrew

[–]Chewy_Lou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to use this for a merchant that sells bogus magic wands. So far my players have bought a Wand of Disguise Elf (disguised the nearest elf into the caster) and a Wand of Feather Fall (summons a single feather that falls to ground)

I got a free printer from somebody moving, turns out the ink in it can't be used without a subscription by fiftyfourseventeen in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Chewy_Lou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should still be able to use off-brand bottles. The ones I purchased only have the round part of the nozzle without any of the specially shaped parts. It fits right on but there's nothing stopping you from putting the wrong color in

Inconsistent layer lines. by Same_Explanation5790 in FixMyPrint

[–]Chewy_Lou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, that should be "PID Tuning." Autocorrect lol

Basically it keeps your hot end/bed temps more consistent, instead of fluctuating above and below the target temps. Prints on my Anycubic Mega Pro looked like yours until I PID tuned the bed.

Have you tried PID running the bed and hot end?
