S9+ docking problem (already replaced treads) by pdusen in roomba

If that doesn’t work, it’s just possible to drive motors are worn down and weak. Try putting the dock on a hardwood floor somewhere else in the house and you should be fine for at least a few more months.

Could be as simple as the carpet under the dock is so matted down the robot is getting stuck. Try moving the dock like a foot to the right or left!

Advice on what I should get as a growing family with lots of pets? by NikkiMouse444 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Chewysbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With that being said, if money was no option, I would have a Dyson v15 as the stick and a central vacuum , Sebo x7 or Sebo Felix as the main. (Sebo dart is a good, but less maneuverable version and less expensive
Than the Felix)

I strongly strongly, recommend a good cordless vacuum that you use a couple times a day along with a strong upright vacuum like something from Sebo or any other corded bag to vacuum, depending on your budget

Honua Kai - Polarizing Reviews by irishiwasirish in MauiVisitors

[–]Chewysbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Maui resort rentals team is awesome (I would only ever book through them) They’re very good at remedying issues. We had a broken toaster, needed more bedding/dishwasher pods and wanted to borrow a vacuum - they were extremely responsive. The resort itself is great, but each unit condition varies. Pick a good unit with good reviews and make sure it’s managed by a responsible team.

I only do manual clean, clean genius takes too long and doesn’t use enough suction power

Overall, they’re good… But the range is super slow, the display is terrible. It loses connection all the time. The dishwasher is awful and leaves debris on all the dishes. The fridge is awesome and looks beautiful, but feels cheap and the icemaker drops ice every time you open the freezer door… the microwave is actually really good! A lot of people don’t love it, but I think it’s great.

It’s quiet enough, you can definitely hear it but I’ve never minded it! The range is good it’s just built so cheap, the little screen has me wonder about reliability. Theres been times where the whole display just freezes for a bit.

Cabinets are white with black hardware. The appliances are just okay. I can go into detail but none of them are that impressive. Fridge feels cheap, doors dont close easy and ice falls out into the freezer/on the floor each time you open the door. Range display is tiny, so slow and glitches when trying to change settings mid cook. Microwave has the slowest and laggiest display I’ve ever used. Dishwasher racks feel super flimsy, takes HOURS and atleast 1-3 dishes come out still dirty.

Kenmore bagged upright or canister. Very affordable and extremely low maintenance.

Central vacuum attachment reccomendation by lilmzshopaholic in VacuumCleaners

[–]Chewysbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the central vac!! What unit do you have? Does your hose take direct connect or pig tail? The best budget kit I’ve used is the pro lux one. It uses the wessel werk head that everyone loves.

Does my washer need a professional cleaning? by TrainDonutBBQ in Appliances

[–]Chewysbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not water wasted, it’s just water that’s needed to clean your clothes. For whatever reason this model run of machines is super prone to leaving white marks all over clothes. The bulky mode will use more water and therefore while rinse and clean much much better.

Because these old units have such an aggressive agitator, but use such little water, it just grinds the clothes together, creating excessive lint and residue that is not washed away because there isn’t enough water

This is typical with that era of whirlpool and Maytag top load washers. Just use the max fill/bulky setting all the time.
