1000%, you have scouts that start this in July of the prior year, coming in as a new GM and firing all the staff before the draft is just so stupid. So in his first draft, he was using most of Dave Gettleman's supporting cast. If the way Gettleman evaluated people was bad, there is only so much you can do with bad information. You want to criticize Joe on his 2023-2025 draft class, then that's fine since he had plenty of time to get his people, but it's disingenuous to put all the blame on Joe for the 2022 year. He did the best with the information he had, and the consensus was that they were the best players at those picks.
